I meant to imply that on non-convertibles, the new plate was added like on earlier convertibles.

Is it that the reinforced torque box area appears on both sides in '68?

OK, I'll jump in. In 1968, a passenger side torque box was added.

What was different about the application of the side stripes between 1965 and 1966 Shelby Mustangs?

I believe that the 65 stripes were wider, and also they were painted on, except for the "GT 350" graphics.

It was me, I got 5 right overall. So that probably means more Fox questions next month.

You are correct, Mr. Webster. The actual "stripe" part was painted in '65, but was a decal in '66. You're up...

What is the first model year that there was a "5.0" designation displayed on a Mustang?

Mr. Greene is correct!

Check out the side of the hood scoop. (I guess you call it a hood scoop even though they put it on backwards. )

In 1970, Cougar Eliminators equipped with 3.91 rear gears also got an oil cooler and engine mods (on the 428 versions). This was called the "Drag Pak" option. What was the option called when they were equipped with 4:30 rear gears?
