Mark, how did you bond your eleanor side scoops on? I have never done something like this and trying to decide if I want to do it myself or have a body shop do it for me.

first do you want it molded in smooth or do you want to be able to see the lines
if you want to see the lines then you just need to line it up, trim to fit and then use a combination of 2 part body epoxy and rivets to hold it on.
of course you will need to do some fiberglass work to get it exact.
if you want it molded in you need to grind down the back side of the scoops to make the edges as slim as possible, then same step use the 2 part epoxy and rivets to hold them on, and then skim coat them with fiberglass and sand smooth
see the phot's below to give you an idea of the 2 designs

mine are smoothed, looks cleaner, but it is just personal opinion on what you like,
i like both but this car was done with shaved handles and smooth edges so the smooth look fit better

Got new door panels for the 67. Going to take the armrests off and keep them off. That will make it look cleaner on the inside. Hope to get some seats tomorrow. ALso got new headlights today. Going to tint my old ones when I get a chance.

Yeah, those will get painted too. It is going to be primed 1 more time so those will get primed then along with my new passenger door that I haven't installed yet. Then in February it will get painted.
Interior is also getting painted. I have 2 cans of the red paint in my room waiting to be sprayed on the doors and other interior panels.

Kind of premature putting the door panels on. You should have put the door panels with the paint in your room until you were ready for them. Hope you don't tear the door panel clip holes on the new panels when you remove them to paint. kennyg

No, I am just doing what I've been wanting to do to it. No money = no mods. Rims will be ordered Wednesday and if I have enough money after buying tires I am buying a newer cylinder head for the 6.
The drivers door only has 2 clips on it and the passenger side has 4. The holes on the new panels were way off. I didn't want to mess them up so I just did the ones that would keep it on. The door handle and window handle help also.

What is wrong with the old cylinder head? I thought you were doing a swap. Don't try to substitute your V8 dream buy building the 6 cyl for performance. Not that it can't be done but it doesn't make financial sense. Maybe that is not an issue for you. Rebuild the engine and use it for it's intended purpose until you are out of school and have a job. Your car will get good mileage and with all of the interior / exterior work will look great too. You don't have to go fast to have a great car.
Before I would buy a "NEW" head I would take that one to a reputable machine shop and have it worked. Check it for cracks, surface it, bronze guides and a valve job. The best money you can spend on a 200 head is replacing the rocker arm shaft. It will get rid of a bunch of the valve slop. You can get a Fred Jones re-manufactured from Ford. I don't know what the current price is as the last one i bought was about 15 years ago in the $200 range. You will probably have to turn yours in as a core. Your head probably has the 7 pedestal shaft which is the better one. It should also have the adjustable rocker arms. If not make sure you get the adjustable when you buy the shaft. The same shaft will fit 65-early 70's however the 65/66 are 4 pedestal.

Are they FoMoCo script lights? Why use them for show? If they are junk throw them away. You will end up scratching your paint if you try to swap them out frequently.

They are just replacement lights, not the fomoco ones. They aren't junk, but the lights were 2 different colors. 1 was brighter than the other.
