Highly doubt it will resemble the Shelby front end...
Too many things to change.. (hood+front end etc)

I'm guessing it will have a more aggressive GT style front...

 

Here's my take on the what a GT/CS might look like (Used Jaxxon's car as the starting point). As the old GT-CS was a cross between the Mustang GT and the Shelby. I tried for a look that was half way between the new Mustang GT and 2007 Shelby.

Tilted the pillars on the grille so that they are half way between the GT and the GT500. Tribar is located in same spot as Cobra is on GT 500. Also put rectangular fog lights in the grille (same shape ast GT/CS but location is more like 2007 GT500.

Tried photoshopping a hood scoop but just couldn't get it to come out right.

 

For some reason now..without the fogs in the grille... it looks like its missing something...

 

that's one ugly looking car compared to the GT or 07 Shelby... I rather have a straight V6, no Special Edition if it's going to look like that...

 

To clarify. That's just my personal take on what a GT/CS might look like based on how the old GT/CS was a cross between the shelby and GT. Fear not, rony1976. It probably won't look anything like this and you won't be forced to buy a V6.

I saw a TV commercial last night for it. It is a loaded V6 with the pony package + Strips. They are also number with only 400 being made. On the center of the dash there is a plaque showing what number car you have. In addition, they said it is only available in California. Did look nice on the TV but was hoping for a V8 not the v6.

 

Don't think that is the same thing as the GT/CS. I have read on here before that what you are refering to is a dealer special in CA.

GT/CA special is suppose to be the "pony package" for the GT.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Why Ford Let the California Regional office come out with this Name when the GT/CS was coming out I will never know. The Cars have nothing in common. Of course Ford is so secretive Regional Probably still does not know about the GT/CS.

 

I had not really followed this thread much so when I saw that commercial last night I thought it was the same thing. I also do not understand why they would release a CS if they are going to national release a GT/CS the year following (am I correct that the 07 GT/CS is a nation wide model?). Thanks for the thread link and correcting my confusion.

I'm really surprised there haven't been any spy photos of the GT/CS special. Hopefully it will be revealed at the Autoshow along with the Shelby.

My 2nd attempt at what GT/CS might look like. Minus the hood scoop and stripes. A cross between the Mustang and Shelby front fascia.

Kevin, any word on whether it will have a sun roof like in the first post in this thread?
