4. Ducktail Spoiler with Rear Stripes Spoiler ala Shelby
5. T-bird/Shelby Style Tail Lights!
6. Quarter Panel Emblems!

They Got to be following a Similar Style! This is Going to be Good!

68 California Specials did not have sequestial tail lights. They just used the same housing, bezel, and lens as the Shelby (T-bird).

this where you are wrong...diffrent models apeal to diffrent people...it gives people a chance that can`t afford a gt,cobra,shelby and chance to own something diffrent without breaking the bank....that`s what makes the mustang so special....year`s ago you could have 30 cars on the lot and most of them if not all of them would not be the same in anyway...it also shows us that the wheels at ford are trying to do bigger and better things...

Two observations:

1) T-bird/Shelby style tail lights I don't see happening cause even the Shelby ain't gettin' those and it means retooling the whole decklid, which is too much work for this project.

2) Is that a sunroof I see in that illustration?

I would love to see California Special. The original one was a cross between the GT's and the Shelby's. Would look great with my '68.
