I just looked at the GT/CS pictures and I'm not impressed. I don't like the bumper at all. I think Ford would have been better served to buy the CDC classic chin spoiler and put in on. The scoops look really cheap and I don't understand why people want them......?

Just my quick .02 cents... if they put the CS package on a V6, then I would have issues with Ford's decision. Imagine a 'plain' V8 GT lining up against a 'scoopy' V6. If I'm driving the V8, I'm shaking my head and laughing because 99 times out of 100, I'm gonna kill that V6 (gotta take modded V6's into account). But with the 'doodads' on the V8, I think it makes a fast car stand out just that much more.
C'mon. Who here is driving an S197 with a factory spoiler. And you want to preach to ME about functional? Puh-leeze! To look down your nose at a CS is the same as dissin' a V6 owner. A stang is a stang is a stang. You cottonpickers kill me... really you do.
Gee, guess I ran the bill up to about .08 cents.

I really like front-end treatment on the 'proposed' GT/CS. Very Roush-like. No ridge above the license plate. So now all that remains is:
1. Price. I know Ford did a nice job bringing the Pony Pkg to the V6 for $1195. I expect the GT/CS to be more, but just how much more? Remember there's no performance increase (AT THIS TIME). So what will doodads cost us?
2. Will we have the option for Tape Stripe delete like the Pony Pkg? As far as that goes, how about Spoiler delete? Will either be an option? Both? Hmmm...
3. And now there is a hint on the board of a Mach1 coming soon. Prolly with the Shaker hood. Are the same folks who saw the GT/CS pics and now really stoked about it gonna wait? Bigger pricetag, and oh my, the insurance hit...
If it's priced right (GT/CS), I'm really diggin' it. Non functional scoopy things and all!
