Kevin was telling me about this when I was ordering some parts today. I hope the hood scoop actually has some kind of function.

One of the worse things Ford did in the 60s and 70s was to "invent" the OEM bolt-on fake hood scoop. It really cheapened the look of the car and just made cars look like wannabes. A hood scope on the Mustang would be great - but Ford needs to do it right and make two hoods - like the mid 80s Firdbird - one regular and one for the Formula/TransAm
(the Formula had a different hood - not so sure about the TransAm).
My 2 cents worth.

Yeah, sounds awsome ;)

Can't wait to see it.

dustindu4 7/18/05 09:04 PM

I saw a C/S a few weeks ago with sequential tail lights.

hmm??

Ballz 7/18/05 09:08 PM

 I don't know if its the coffee I'm drinking but this has me really excited!

John H 7/18/05 09:29 PM

Now starts all the speculation. How much? Where will it be available? Cali, nationwide, etc? Differences between it and a GT? When will we see a prototype or show car?

I can't wait to get some answers to these questions. I'm pumped! I probably won't get one but I'm happy any time new Mustang news like this is released.

Enfynet 7/18/05 10:38 PM

Why? This could be a sign of a N/A 5.4L in a new Mustang. Or it could be a "pony package" for the GT models. Either way Ford is trying to give people more options from the factory, which is a good thing. :nice:

ManEHawke 7/18/05 10:42 PM

It's good to hear confirmation that it will be an SE. Waiting to see what they to to execute it is the exciting part.

Ballz 7/18/05 10:56 PM

I think a new SE is enough reason to get excited. I'd rather they try some thing different than Mach 1 or Bullitt.

Blk'05 7/18/05 11:00 PM

Well all I can say is I just want to see the thing....or at least some prototype photochops... Something
