Better Shelby Fascia Pic.
What is Odd is the Part Number Changed from a specific GT/CS Rear Fascia to the Same as The Shelby. So in Theory The Front Could Change Part Numbers Also. We Can only Hope. Since the car has not Really been Shown in public FORD could still be on the Fence as to the Final Details. In my opinion if the Car were to have The Shelby Front end and a 6 speed it would be Pretty Desirable. Then They Should Call it a GT350 To Further enhance Desirability. Then some More Horsepower. Well I can Dream can't I

KC, I'll tell u what. It can have the Shelby rear. But I'm not too crazy about the GT500's front fascia. Looks too smiley. But if it has the same fascia as the white one in the spy photos, I'd like that alot. In fact, for me, it's gotta be that one or I'll just buy a straight GT and forego the GT/CS. They really should make it stand out from the crowd.
Maybe Ford's thinking they won't have enough GT500's to go around so maybe they'll make the CS look like a baby Shelby. Unique is good. I like unique.

I'd really like to see the GT/CS in the pictures that I saw...plus a ducktail.
Maybe some different tail lights, but I know I'm pushing it.
Hey, I'm sold...I like the look of it and I can't wait for the end of March so I can put my deposit down on one....

I would be happy with that, plus the modern 68 stlye hood louvers (kinda like the 03 and 04 cobras)

oh i know, but i REALLY want a new GT/CS to go with my 68 GT/CS

Same here. I thought it would have been better to release it in 2008. Primarily because the GT/CS was originally only offered in 1968. Doesn't bother me when they release, just as long as they do.

I haven't read through all 12 pages so i don't know if this has been addressed but........why does a car called a CALIFORNIA special....have heated seats? Shouldn't that be a feature for a alaskan special Mustang? Just being a smartass, i like the car,the more Mustang variations the better, that's why Mustang shows are the best,4s,V8s,V6s,stripes,no stripes, fast, slow, whatever,i love them all. If you go to a Corvette show,it's vette,vette,vette.....a Mustang show can have a 4-banger '74 Mustang II next a big block Mach 1 and both owners are equally proud.
thats a good question....I've always wanted a heated shift **** and steering wheel.......I live in Northern IN, and I hate driving with gloves.

LOL. Good point about the factory rear spoiler. I'm sure some one with a spoiler will defend it as functional.

It is functional............I use it to open and close my trunk.
