Sweet pictures! I would love to nab a few of those cars. It is only money, right?

Raised the front of my car and softened my front bar.
I was running Boss 302 springs with Koni Yellows. The additional 1/4" drop from the Konis made the front too low and I wasn't happy with the soft front rate (148lbs). I swapped the fronts for 2012 GT500 SVTPP springs (234lbs) and the rears for Boss 302 Laguna Seca springs (191lbs). The car sits perfectly level, about a half inch dropped from Track Pack height. The handling is phenomenal with my front sway bar set to second softest and the Konis set to 1 turn from full soft all around. The drastic increase in rate is barely noticeable from a ride comfort standpoint.

Looks good ^^^
And you got me thinking about installing the front FRPP "L" springs I have sitting here.
When we bought the "L" springs for the fiancee's Shelby, I only installed the rears, to get rid of the 2"-higher-in-the-rear rake that the factory blessed the 07-09 GT500 with.
So I've had a brand-new set of front "L" springs sitting here for a couple of years now.

Upsized the rear rotors and changed all the pads to Carbotech . . . but still have "service advance track" problem on the track, looks like next mod will be ABS Pin 5 delete or FR500S ABS module

What brand rotor? Does it fit with the stock rear calipers?
I hope/assume this will work from my 2012 as well?

You can use any GT500 rear rotor, from Centric or anyone else. You can re-use the caliper, it just needs to mount a little higher to allow clearance for the larger rotor.
The only part you need is the mounting bracket.
Easy to do, not too expensive, and you get better brake force out of the rear (since it's applied at a larger arm) and you have better thermal capacity since there is more material there.

The rotors are later model GT500 rotors -- 13.2"? diameter if I remember correctly. (or they might be 13.8, I'm not sure, they are just a little smaller than the front 14" Brembos)
If you look up 2014 GT500 rear rotors on Rock Auto or wherever you buy parts, they should come up. I went with the slightly higher quality Centric rotors for about $60/each instead of the cheaper $30/each rotors because I figured that if I was making all this effort, I might as well do it right. The rotors are pretty nice and I'm glad I paid the extra $60 for the pair.
The calipers are exactly the same as stock. Just like on the late model GT500's -- it is the same caliper as the regular GT (I think they are the same all the way back to 2005 GT, I am not positive)
I got the brackets from a guy on e-bay for about $120 for the pair. Not dirt cheap, but a good alternative to the Ford approach which requires that you pull the rear axle in order to install their bracket. The brackets come with the bolts, and just bolt right up. A quick search on "GT500 rear brake brackets" should find them.
The rotors are the same thickness as the original GT rotors, so the original GT calipers / pads fit just fine.
Performance feels good to me; it did not seem to throw off the front/rear brake bias so much as to cause any problems. For sure they do stay cooler . . . before my rear rotors were about 450-475 degrees after a 20 minute track session; now they are down around 350. Unfortunately it did not solve my "service advance track" issue like I hoped, but that is a whole 'nother story.

No -- it does look better also, but I did it for performance not looks.
I was having problems with the rear brakes getting very hot on the road track. This is a common problem with these cars in extended road course sessions. The stock rears actually get hotter than the front. (not so much an issue in autocross and not an issue at all in drag racing) The bigger rotors definitely do stay quite a bit cooler, as I noted in previous post. Also the larger diameter provides more braking torque, which is also a good thing, the rear brakes work really hard on these cars on the road track.

Yeah, but that's true of 95% of the other "performance mods" that people do on street cars too!

I've bought 2 sets of brackets from him, I have them on both cars.
Did mine March of '15, did the fiancee's in March of this year

It wasn't as easy as when I found them before for some reason, but I found them:

You can go through the eBay link above or if you're on svtp you can PM him there and he might do them for less than the $115 eBay price since he doesn't have to pay their commission ...
