Yeah I just don't want to negate the money I'd make by selling the other setup, by paying to have the stock stuff put on. I don't mind turning wrenches, but it's been in the low 30s all week, and I really do not want to deal with those death trap spring compressors. I'm thinking of doing the rear end stuff myself and then taking it to a local shop to do the front end and alignment. It's the price you pay for modding a car under warranty I guess. It just sucks that the dealer won't even open up the rear end to verify their original repair.
Good luck bro!

Thanks T. This whole thing has me so depressed. I feel like I do one mod and take two steps back.
Makes me wish the S550 was available with a glass roof. I'd just get a base GT350 and call it a day. Wouldn't mod it.

Just think long run,...your car will be back to normal and you can get back to modding and enjoy it again. Your car does look sweet as it sits. I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks this.

I feel for you. I'm in the process of pulling my vmp SC off and all of my other mods since I'm on a quest for another stang.

I feel like I would mod a GT350 but not the GT350R ..... except for maybe an exhaust and different wheels and tires. I have a feeling that I would like to eventually turn my car into something that is a wee bit too extreme if I keep it. Maybe with a little something like these two things.
The R is just a ridiculously fast car as is and ungodly capable so with just a wheel and tire change I would just let it be.

Stock intake and tune going back in this morning then the bumper cover and she will be done.

True that sir. I had a factory spoiler on mine and when I installed the CS spoiler two additional holes needed to be drilled. If you want the Gt500 spoiler your best bet is to purchase a new trunk lid that has no holes in it.

I always wanted the GT500 spoiler but I ordered the backup cam. Always intended to get one and mold the camera in, but still haven't gotten around to it...also was about to go to my last cars and coffee this morning, since I'll be working Sunday's from here on out...of course as I'm washing the last window it starts to sprinkle. I swear I'm cursed when it comes to cars

That's pretty much the same luck I have as well Nathan.. As It must be real nice for these weather forecasters to make over 6 figures per year, but yet they're still wrong 99% of the time.. Now how's that for having real job security

This is what I just picked up on a couple of recommendations from some of the guys over at S197 fourm. It is called Polish Angel and although not a sealant it will last a long time and has protective qualities to it. If I can get my car to look anywhere close to that black car I would be happier than a tornado in a trailer park!
Some of it's protective qualities which I thought were nice.

Ya, I've been happy with it. I got it free a few years back when I bought my porter cable. Still have quite a bit left, so I might as well use it. I've been wanting to try the black fire for a while though.
