So far, so good here. Been dodging the weather bullet so I've put almost a 1000 miles more on it than I thought it'd have by this time. We did get a little bit of wet slushy snow, but it washed away the next day and no salt ever hit the roads. I hoping I can push this until Feb.

Hoping your winter ends quickly.
Nice! We keep getting the big storms that have been coming through California, so while it's great they are getting rain (they need it), it sucks cause we get hit pretty good as well! I unfortunately don't see it ending soon...

I *almost* pulled the car out last week (the snow was almost gone, but the roads were still wet in places)... But since I don't have a way to wash her right now, I don't really want her to sit dirty in the garage! I mean, she is already pretty dusty, but I don't want to add dirt and water too! LOL!

Yeah, I lived in California for 38 years, which was awesome for winter weather! But I do love the summer weather here in Colorado! Only a few months to go! LOL!

Thanks! The exhaust choice was a pretty tough one. But I've had borlas on a different car and like em a lot then, so figured I like the way they sound on the mustang as well so why not. Have you noticed any higher temp readings at all because of the housing for the MAF being metal and taking up a little more of the heat under the hood at all?

I haven't noticed any higher temps... I don't really drive the car all that often, so I am probably not the best to gauge that, but I did take a trip from Denver to Kansas City and back over the summer (at one point, in blinding/torrential rain) and and no issues! I was afraid I'd have some problems with the rain and the driver's side heat extractor being right over the filter, but no issues at all!

I put the CAI on before I even had 1k miles and now have just over 7k miles and have yet to have any issues... The only problem I had was on installation, when I didn't read the instructions fully and tried to reuse the screws from the sensor and one of them broke inside the housing! Ooops...

I don't believe so. They do make the mufflers for Ford Racing though.

Yes ! Borla manufacturers the GT500 mufflers for Ford Racing and were also the stock/OEM mufflers on the 2007-14 Shelby GT500..

Today I ordered a pair of Nitto NT555 G2's in 275/35/20 from Discount Tire Direct, for the new front wheels.

They were $197.20 each, cheaper than the old 555's by almost $1/tire, and the guy said I should have them in my hands in about 7-10 days

Hope to have them mounted/balanced and on the front of the car shortly thereafter.

Nice Gabe! Are these what will be wrapping the new Milan's? But I thought you wanted to run 305s??? Hence the test fitting, etc? Something change that?

Also, what's the difference between the regular NT555's (which I have) and the G2? Is that just 2nd gen?

The 275's are going on the front

And yeah, the G2 is the redesigned 555 .... better wet traction, better dry traction, better braking, ... better all around, and shockingly cheaper than the old 555. Go figure.

The same tire on the Steeda Streetfighter Q750 car. Those are brand new to the market.
Should be a good one!

Blown...

I remember you returning your 13 back to stock in preparation for this. Why did you decide to do that again? I mean, as far as going from a 13 to a 14? Why was it worth it? Just curious.

That's awesome Gabe. Let me know how those go. My NT555 fronts and rear drags have only about 5k miles on them. I'm stuck with them a while. lol.

But I really thought you were going 305 up front as you planned. Why did you switch to 275?

TJ, the G2's don't seem to be on your site.

I never planned on a 305 front, I always wanted the 20x10's all around, cuz putting a 275 on an 8.5"-wide wheel is not a good idea.
Looking forward to trying them, for sure.
Car is going back into the World Of Wheels car show in Boston this year

Ah ok... that's what it was. 20x10 in the fronts, versus 20x8.5. Ok. Got it. So you have 20x10 Milans all around, correct?

In my original quest 2 years ago I wanted a SGM but settled for black. I have always been meticulous about my cars looking pristine whether I was cruising or at the strip. My car had a few issues that no one else noticed but I knew they were there. It had swirl marks that I paid a detailer to take care of but he made them much worse in some spots. I kinda gave up on it looking perfect with the rock chips along with the color black and the swirl marks. Not to mention she had 30k miles on it. Lol
Maybe its weird, but I have a vision of what I want the SGM to look like, but I never had that with my black stang.
Finally, I cant trade in my wife so the car is my second choice or should that be my first choice. Lol

Well stated... lol. Thanks for the blurb. On the latter question you had, obviously the wifey

So if you're concerned about rock chips, I hope you elected to get paint protective film on the car? (clear bra). All my cars had it, have it, and will have it. I'm chip free for over 6 years on all my vehicles.
