Did some photochops with Burton's wheels on my car

Yes, I'm looking into getting a set of these Milans, but 20x10 all around.

Godd@mn... I didn't know my wheels look THAT good.

I really need to get Photoshop asap. The Lightroom that I have is not able to do this cut and paste. I must say you did a great job with this Photoshop.

I think I might have to tuck my wheels and tires in more.

Gabe, fwiw, those Milans look REALLY GOOD on your car and color. No question.

p.s. I love my Milans.

Meh, for the price I got them for, they're a great-looking wheel.

There's a couple reasons I want to change .... style is only one of them

I've been slacking on posting my updates I've done since I got my new wheels, so he's what I've done in the past 6 weeks or so:
  • Roush lower grille delete
  • Replaced my Roush front splitter with the Cervinis GT500-style one
  • GT500 rear brake rotor upgrade
  • Added DIB accents under the hood

^ wow John... based on your updates, you are forgiven!

Seriously though, great choices on the upgrades. Love the rear brakes. Also like the touches you did under your hood. How did you get the brembos painted in DIB?

Thank you. I just need to clean up the corners on the strut bar a little but other than that I think it added the perfect amount of color. I would have done the recessed lettering on the engine cover too, but I don't have the skill/patience to mask that off. Lol. For the Brembos, I bought the G2 color-matched caliper paint. It's pretty steep at $100, but it's the only thing out there for high temp DIB.

Nice! They probably make one for Kona. So you hand painted it or removed it then sprayed it? Then how'd you get the white Brembo lettering all perfect?

They can make one for Kona. You just have to give them your paint code. I removed the caliper, took the rotor off and put the caliper back on, cleaned everything really well with brake parts cleaner, masked and then painted with the supplied brush. Because I was afraid of loosing too much paint in overspray, I didn't buy the optional aerosol sprayer kit. It turned out I had almost half the can left after doing 3 coats and the rest got wasted since it has a working time of like 3-4 hours. When my cousin did his last month, he got the sprayer and it worked great and he too still had a lot left over. So, if you get the kit, I'd recommend getting the sprayer too because using the brush on the smooth Brembo calipers does leave faint brush strokes. Another tip: if you decide to buy a G2 kit, put the kit in your cart and register with your email address and stuff but then don't check out for a couple hours. They'll email you a code for free shipping to try to get you to complete the order. The email will say it's only good for an hour or two but I used mine the next day with no problem. Saves about $10-12,

As far as the high-temp decals, I got them on eBay for like $5 shipped. Got 4 decals (they don't sell just 2) so I have two spares in case something happens to the ones that are already on the car.

Why thank you sir. I'd be lying if I said your car didn't inspire me to get them for mine.

The only thing you need to do to your Mustang is to swap out that interior with mine.

Seriously, your car is outstanding. The way it is, is the way it should stay. Congrats on a very stunning head turner.

Alex, I know alot of people like the Milans, but i have to say I am not one. I think they look great on some colors, but I don't think black is one. Don't jump on that bandwagon!

They're so played out, but then again so are AMRs. The worst fact is that the Milans, Vossen CV3s and others have been copied by a bunch of other companies - Rovos, ESR, etc.

Just moved to underhood goodies since I've done everything I wanted to the interior already. Added the gt500KR STB, got the ROUSH strut tower caps in black, the Radiator caps in black chrome (from the Roush blackjack), and the oil cap cover in chrome. All the CF under the hood came off my 13' except the CF (hydrodipped) JLT CAI.

Wish I could find a CF cover for the ROUSH coolant tank so it would match the stock one.

Would also like a FORD RACING decal in red that would sit on the flat part of the STB... Anyone have a lead or source for something like that?? I've looked on ebay but couldn't find one with the correct dimensions to fit that area...
