On march 29th i ordered a grabber blue 5.0 manual with brembo brakes and 3.73, Im In puerto Rico right now and have leave between units from may18-june19th. I was starting to worry that I wouldn't have the mustang for ny leave, but dealer called me two days ago with an ETA of may15! So I'm pretty stoked.

Still nothing from my dealer after three emails to salesman and one to finance guy on a question of whether I should pay off a credit card prior to the loan or not. Nothing from them in a month. PM'd Deysha, hopefully she can come through with some good news.
Ordered March 7th. Not as long as some. But I'm not very confident in the 5 weeks the salesman told me. Seeing as that is already gone. And without a VIN yet I don't think the 6-8 weeks is going to happen either.

I'm not sure if you would say my build date was moved up or not. Originally the build date was 4/11, then after the last 1 week plant shut down, I was told 4/25 for the build. Then this week, it was suddenly built and on the train I called Thursday for an update, and it was at the ramp of the local Ford plant, where they offload all of the cars for this area. Today, it's in my garage!!

Deysha comes through!!! Just gave me the VIN and a build week scheduled for May 16th. No ETA yet, but that is already the most and best news I've had so far. Order placed Mar 7th, 401A Yellow Blaze 5.0 Coupe, MT82 coupe. I can't wait. Also got word for my boss today I'll probably be gone the following week for training so knowing my luck, I'm betting that's when the car will show up. Thanks, Deysha! Happy Easter.

For what it is worth, it cannot hurt to pay off a credit card, then refrain from using it while making monthly car payments. Can it be assumed that the financing was already approved? If you already have favorable terms, then paying off the credit card is gravy. If the interest rate is high, then paying off the credit card in time for it to appear on your credit report might help to lower it. Every little bit helps.

@ LaVARedOM. Thank you for the calming words and the hyperlink. I definitely was concerned to discover my initial Priority listing was miles behind the worst I had heard mentioned on this forum thread. I e-mailed my dealer the other day and he sent me a scan of the Dora. Apparently they have my order listed as a Type 1 with a Priority of 13. Finally some good news and fits what you were telling me as well. Thanks again. -Trenton

So, on your window sticker, what was the actual build date listed? We are curious what it says considering when you thought the build date was, then the fact that you received the car before you even thought it was built. Let us know.

My PDF sticker never changed - it always said 4/11 build date from the first time I saw it. http://services.forddirect.fordvehic...bp8am1c5214682
