Hi, I just joined TMS today and thought I would add to the list.

Ordered 03MAR11
Haven't heard anything in regards to VIN, which after reading this thread seems to be the norm for quite a few folks

My original build day given to me when I first received my VIN was 4/11. That got pushed back to 4/20 after they announced closing the plant for the week. I just got an update from my dealer today saying Build date 4/19, but then the very top row right about that says "in production, sent to plant"??
With all these date changes I cant figure out this riddle
EDIT: All the while the ETA remains at 5/1

Dealer. Vehicle Visibility report. They get this everyday after it's scheduled.

My dealer emails me the vehicle visibility report every Monday to keep me updated on any changes I just cut out the first 3 lines of the report.
So if that means they are setting my blend I should be able to see my Window Sticker soon right?

Well, I just got back from my dealer where I substantially revised my order. Changed exterior paint from PW to Kona, added Glass Roof, and added 64V wheels.
Dealer sort of talked around the issue. Said my original configuration wasn't scheduled yet, but he didn't know if the order number would stay the same. Um, OK. So maybe they decided to keep my original order for stock and place a new order for this one? Or maybe they just canceled the original and re-submitted?
Also, despite what they said previously, they won't honor my $750 past its May 20th expiration. He said neither car would have made it by then, which inadvertently called BS on his original claim of 6-8 weeks when I placed my order back in March...Now he says they have 4 Mustangs on order and mine is #3. I wonder if that is BS as well, a way to justify any future delays with my scheduling, production, and delivery.
At least I got a deal for invoice and the $500 rebate. Hopefully they up the rebates by then.
I know some of this is my fault, but I can only dread how far back this sets me in terms of scheduling/production/delivery. Probably looking at mid-June now? Ugh.

Im not a big fan of the stock shift **** that comes on the GT premium 400a and GT/CS. Anyone see any cool 6 speed shifters that would fit a stock 6 speed manual GT/CS? Any sites would be much appreciated.

I read somewhere that once its build, the number 1 changes to a 2 on the string of numbers at the bottom right. Looking at other window stickers of car that are already built shows that this is not true. I think the only way to know this is to get Deysha, someone at FCS or get a the vehicle visibility report from the dealer
