MikeR, I want mine delivered by the same express service they seem to be planning for yours! 
I think you are right to be suspicious of that, unless you live in Flat Rock...

Add your VIN after the equal sign. Once the sticker is up I believe your build date is locked and will roll down the line shortly there after.
Contact Ford Customer Service. They can give you the build status. Once it gets "sent to plant" its only a matter of days before its being produced. They can give you a rail car or courier number. Once it leaves the plant you track it through the transportation company

Thats where I started. Seems us GT folks have probably been hit with another case of "no_parts_itis". Most of us have been moved to April 11. With you being a V6 it may be April 4.

It would certainly be "who" of Ford to actually notify the Dealerships when orders are delayed... AND (if they are feeling enterprising), let us know WHY.

Boo. My dealership called me and I've been pushed back to delivery on 4/28. He never can seem to tell me the build week though. 
The worst part is that I'm going out of town on 4/28 for the weekend. I'm not going to be able to focus at all.

uhhh they do notify dealers. it's done through the same system that the dealers orders through when they submit the order. You place the order then it's scheduled, then built, and then delivered. anything that would hold it up will be noted in the same fields that show the order status.
I sure hope I get some good news tommorrow, or at least a Sched week!! I am starting to lose my patience here! Even though snow on the ground in VA today cools me down I am still annoyed.
