I am glad to finaly see some movement,,hope to hear somthing this week,,If I had ordered a basic model I would have cancelled, there are 2012'a at dealers all around me,just none like I speced out. Cmon FORD,keep the gerbals running at the factory! Ordered 1/3.

 

My salesman just sent me an e-mail and said our mustang is being built april 6-7 ,we were hoping for april 5 (our 25th anniversary) but we should have it around middle april.whoo- hoo!

 

Is anyone here able to run a vin or order number and dealer code to check a build week. I obviously tried it via the method previously mentioned to look up window stickers with negative results. Ford c/s is not a huge help at this point either. I'm good with PM the vin if someone has the capabilities. My dealer is on vacation, and apparently no one else in the dealership has the ability to check it......bs........
On a side note, is Sparky banned from this site????

 

Build date of April 4th, although I assume that it will be some time that week. I have my VIN number, so I can start checking for the window sticker in a couple weeks. Things are definitely starting to roll along. Won't be too much longer for you guys.

Placed my order on January 3, 2011. Went to a large volume dealer so I wouldn't have allocation issues like I did last time.

 

Yeah I was wondering if Sparky is banned. We were PMing back and forth on Friday. I wonder what happened?

Ford Customer Service (Deysha) should be able to check on your dealer code/order number and give you a status. Once you have a VIN, you can use it for tracking purposes. You could also go to Blue Oval Forums and use the tracking service there, but you have to be a member and put up 10 post first. The guy that does it is a Ford employee and he does this on his own time, so follow his rules. He usually does it first thing in the morning.

Just found out that my 2012 GT is "Unscheduled, Clean."

Sparky was arguing with someone in a forum, next thing BANNED.

 

Must have been some argument!

 

I'm told my VIN is 14349. I don't have the build date but the system shows an estimated delivery of April 12.

 

At least there is some progress

 

I got my vin number today, I guess they figured it has been 3 months, they better give me at least that.

 

Got PM'd from Dyesha today: build week of Apr-04-2011 and an ETA of Apr-09-2011 which is subject to change. It also received a VIN ...14713 ! Whoo Hoo!!! The time is fast approaching!

 

Can anyone tell me how to contact Deysha? Car has been built, and is now rusting at Auto Alliance waiting to be shipped! Vin 5206419

 

Search for the user "FordCustomerService". PM that user (Deysha) with your VIN and she should be able to tell you what's going on. Hope that helps.

Unable to locate Deysha. Worked for Ford for 31 yrs, retired for 10...They continue to amaze me at how they can suck the fun out of everything.
