Will do. I installed it this am but then had to leave before I had a chance to snap any pics. Looks good though and not gaudy or too large IMO.

That's what I was worried about. If it was gaudy looking.

Got sick of waiting and getting the runaround from my dealer so I went to another and kind of fell in love with this White California special, so I bought it! Gave me a pretty good deal. Also striping it was in the deal also, but after driving for a couple days and getting peoples opinions I don't think I am going to stripe it. I think I am going to just do black spears on the hood bulge with 5.0 in them. I emailed a company to see if they can do that. Your guys opinions and remarks are appreciated!

Union Pacific has a 1:29 pm 6/13 ETA for the railcar that my Mustang is on to arrive in Houston. Loving the progress. Hope it gets to the dealer shortly after.

How do you track it after it's built/shipped?

Go to your dealership and ask your salesperson to view the Vehicle Visibility Report. This tracks the progress from the time the order was put in and will track the railcar during shipping. The report will record the stops that the railcar is making and will also log the time, city and state it is passing through while it is in transit. This should have the railcar number and carrier name on it. You can call the 800 number for the carrier and track the railcar yourself!

I tracked mine and called the dealership as soon as I knew it had arrived. My ETA was 06/14 and it was delivered to the dealership on 06/08. I had a few parts installed and picked it up on Friday night. I will post pictures as soon as it stops raining.

Get your railcar# from the VVR.. I used 2 numbers depending which railroad it was on. CSX... 1 800 235-2352. Union Pacific... 1 800 877-5123 Follow the prompts for the automated tracking. You'll need the railcar# when asked for it.

My windows sticker says that the method of shipment is convoy which I assume is by truck for some portion of it but I'm in Florida so there's no way it's coming all the way that way. Ah well, guess I'll find out soon enough! Thanks for the info tho fellas.

Is there anyway to determine if my dealer has enough allocation to get my car built? I reading through lidserra's post, it looks like that is the ultimate variable to my order. Of course my dealer says they have the allocation but I really don't want to wait many weeks and find out that my order has not moved. I don't expect to get my car until August. I would just hate to wait until July and learn that I won't get the car until October.

I suspect there is no way to find out but just curious if anyone knows.

Thanks
Wes

Ask the dealer if they have allocation for June. That's your best bet.

Just a little closer !!!!!

Just called FCS. My car is now in New Jersey and still on the move, but the ETA hasn't changed from June 21st. I think that's mighty close for 8 days away with a New York destination. We will see.
