Well start calling around, or use the Ford website to find one. You might have to drive some distance on the weekend though. But if it would settle your mind, it would be worth the drive. Ron

Wow. I thought 499 was crazy with 10% down.

I'd be putting a lot more than 10% down. I'd also be doing a 36 month 0% loan because I hate paying interest.

I'd actually be putting 30% down.

So what's the deal, don't they offer 0 for longer than 36?

I gladly pay interest if its fixed and low enough (compared to opportunity return), but that's me.

FMC is only offering 0% at 36 months. 48 months is 3.9% and 60% is like 4.9%.

Here's an interesting quote from a review:

The 3.7-liter engine delivers plenty of low-speed torque. It accelerates strongly without needing to be flogged, which is good because the engine felt a little coarse when revved hard. The manual gearbox was light and easy to use, but the engine rpm was slow to drop during high-rpm shifts, and that was less than pleasing. The automatic transmission would be smoother, plus it gets slightly better highway mileage.

Maybe the V6 IS good enough for me. I just wasn't too impressed with the V6 Camaro I test drove today....aghh. Can't decide.

Its called analysis, paralysis.

My last metaphor. When I was planning my hay barn, more than a few said "always go bigger, doesn't mean you have to use it, but if you build just barely, you'll always run out of room and wish you would have built bigger to begin with."

Good luck!

Actually, at this point I really think jokerstars really just needs to shop for a nice used Neon. Then the whole debate of "which Mustang" will be over.

BURN UTICA TO THE GROUND!

get the GT.

My dad just said the other day that he should have gotten a GT500 in 07 instead of a GT for the monthly payment difference. I decided not to get into the whole ADM issue back on 07 that would have made that impossible... wanted to encourage him to get a 2011 GT500...

A Syntax error would be putting down GETv6 and meaning GETv8 without compiling and testing.
THAT would be a syntax error.

I don't know about you joker but my quotes are much lower than that, here is what i did.

I told them when i signed the papers that i would be going through my credit union and they said well at least give us a chance to beat their rate. So i was like ok, so i went to my credit union and got the quote and then called them up and told them what it was and if they could beat it. They said they could so i'm sure you can get better than what the standard rates are if you work them a lil bit.

btw my quote was 4.0 from my credit union for 60mo and the dealer finance guy acted like he could beat that rate all day long.

EDIT: oh yeah and get a gt dude, come on..

Just get the GT, if you can afford it! You will love it more, when buying a can like a Mustang the last thing I look at is gas prices, fuel consumption, etc, I'm buying it because it's bad ***! You will never get the sound or enjoyment from a V6 that you will get from the V8!

Agree on the sound; disagree on the enjoyment. Sound is an objective measure whereas enjoyment is a subjective measure and thus, dependent upon each persons individual tastes and desires.

Not really...there are plenty of handling enhancements, in addition to lighter weight, that would make this an attractive performance option at its price point. And those buyers who purchase help to make the business case so a V8 option is offered.

This V8 vs V6 crap is getting played out. Give me break - get what you want because YOU want it - not becuase you feel like you won't have a set of ***** if you get a V6 or because a bunch of insecure men will rag on you - geez

OH - and to silverbull - not sure I know too many secretaries that drive around in a 13.7 1/4 mile cars
