I entered my car and Sync says it needs to update to the newer version. I will update and see what happens.

 

Any idea how long this takes? It's been 2.5 hours and I'm still seeing "installation complete"

 

Same here, 1 hour and still stucked at the "Installation complete" screen...

 

All I want to say is ... "Yay"

 

you got some more hours to go my friend, i lifted my hood to air out the heat too lol/...i guess noone knows how long

 

The instructions indicated it would say Installation Complete but then after about 10 minutes it would display that again and then reboot. If I read it right it would display Installation Complete AFTER rebooting and then you were to exit the menus. Is it possible that you did not notice that it had rebooted?

 

Mine was 10-15 minutes tops.

Any ways to check if the update is installed ?

 

I saw "rebooting", now its on "installation complete" see attachment This is what Im waiting for, still no OK button on my screen.

How long did it took to get the reboot ?

Reboot came pretty quickly, screen is unresponsive atm

 

I think you hit the menu button first.

 

So how did your update ended ? Did you restarted or message cleared itself ?

 

my dealership does these updates and it takes them 3-4 hours i thought mine would be fast and easy.. thats the only thing im banking on is the long hours

instructions said press MEDIA button then settings > install.. just like how it looks now..did you do the same as me???
