I actually like the Chip Foose mantra from Overhaulin'. He often talks about shooting for a look that "looks stock." The idea being that someone unfamiliar with the car might think it came from the factory that way, whereas someone very familiar with the car would recognize subtle tweaks.
Along those lines, most of my mods have involved elements found on the Boss 302 (hockey stripes, tri-bar grille, Laguna Seca gauges, chin spoiler, etc.).

I'm confused. You're asking us if we prefer YOUR stock look or modified look because you are thinking about returning to stock? or?????? Or are you asking us if we prefer our own modded cars look to our own stock cars look?
I'll answer all of them.
For yours, there's not too much difference. Your current is subtle. In fact, I think I prefer your stock.
For mine, I prefer my current look, no doubt.
