So Levittown has the 2013 gt500 driveshaft for $1,060. That's a hell of a deal for an OEM CF shaft that good for 200mph. It also uses cv joints on the front and rear. Now the GT has a different flange on the tranny side. It's for a yolk not cv. Is this flange swappable to the 2013 gt500 front flange?

No doubt bro it will hit 140 mph. Will your two piece implode or not, is the question. Thus far you have been good to go which is awesome but I wasn't willing to take that chance for 700 bucks. That buys me a great DS made by The Axle Exchange.Plus I like the added benefits of the one piece aluminum DS. Lol!

I've also been wondering. Why does the DSS rear cv joint req an adapter to fit the factory flange? Why not just make the cv to fit without the adapter?
Is it because the DSS cv is larger and the adapter decreases the bolt pattern to fit in order to not have to swap the flange like on the axle exchange?

I'm sorry, I misunderstood you. You have a GT and totally correct it will roll 155 on the driveshaft. I have a 3.7 and wouldn't want to travel 140 mph on the factory driveshaft.

The GT 500 DS will not fit the GT correct? I thought they had different transmissions?
It would seem to me that if it would fit that is the answer. If not I would love to have a real Transmission like the Tremec in the car. That to me would be the ultimate. Not sure the gear ratios are good for the 3.73 's in the TP?

Yeah, I don't blame you. I considered the V6 with performance package before I decided on the GT. My first mod was going to be a one-piece aluminum DS. I was gonna track either car, and 112mph just wasn't going to cut it. I've already made it a little over 120mph at the track with my GT, and judging by the tracks I'm planning to hit up this summer that number will climb closer to 135.
