Yeah. That's a pretty stupid thing to have in a muscle car. Or a pony car.

I have seen massive "on no my sync doesnt work" threads.

Just because a few people get together adn have a pity party and chant about the falling sky doesnt make it the biggest news or something that affects all of us. I hope they get the repairs and help they need. But they are just being silly and feeding into this stuff doesnt help a single part get changed.

we need thread like this to look like

"took my car into the dealer. It did this. they said this. The fixed/did not fix this. reason."

All of this stops now.

It never happened.

If you want to start a thread about GT500 trannies go ahead. We will remain on topic so that our fellow members who actually use this information don't have to read all your crap.

Hello awesome members,

If anyone is having any concerns with their vehicle, please bring it in to your local Ford dealership for diagnosis as soon as possible. Then, PM me with your contact info, mileage, dealer, and VIN so I can escalate your concerns for you.

I have a concern! It's too fast! That is a safety issue! You know I'll be talking to my dealer soon!

That's any easy fix, put a piece of 2x4 under gas pedal. Done

Simply unplug the skip shift solenoid on the upper right rear area of the transmission case. I did 9000 miles ago. No issues at all.

So you guys have never been locked out of going into a gear after pushing in the clutch pedal? I have a serious Love/Hate relationship w/ my car. Under normal daily driving, everything is perfect, but when I try to get on it and shift at anything over 4500 RPM's I get blocked from going into any gear, not just the one I'm looking for. I then have to sit and wait until a gate opens, I fail to see how sitting and waiting to put your car in gear when you are expecting a gear to be available to increase speed is not a safety issue. And honestly, looking for a new TSB, come on, do you really believe that there will not be a new MT82 thread created, that is just an insane way of thinking, like if there was a new tsb for #8's, someone would post it in one of the old threads and you would never find it?

I have routinely been locked out of the house after pushing my wife's buttons.

But so far no lockouts in my MT82 for the first 2800 miles. I regularly rev to over 4500rpm before shifting.

That's how my car was until I got about 13000 miles on it. I hope yours stays working perfect, but if it doesn't, how would you want to be treated when you post about your experience with the MT82, in a MT82 thread, on a Mustang forum? Remember that when typing out your responses. I'm not some troll hiding behind a keyboard, I'm a real person, with a real car, with a really ****ty transmission. YMMV, but remember, I love my car, I just want it to be right, like yours is and mine was for the first year.

Hmm. I'm talking about about getting "gear blocked", you're talking about getting "**** blocked". There is a little bit of difference, but when they both happen on the same night it really pisses me off.
