New 2013 5.0 at dealership??????

Guys, does this seem a bit odd that a dealership would still have a brand new, not used 2013 5.0 convertible listed for almost 43k. My father was over at this Ford dealership today and saw this. He can't believe they would have a new 5.0 from 2013 still. Heck, he said Ford doesn't even have incentives on the 2013 mustang models. Why didn't this beauty sell? Wtf. My father wants to know what's a fair offer to make on this alleged new older 2013 model? Something seems strange to me but I come to you experts on this. Few weeks after I bought my 12' mustang there was sitting a 2year old 11' stang. Same situation, never driven. Just sat there on the lot. And they sold it for 34-35k can't remember. But had a nav and premium vert.
So it smart to shop around, look on cars.com or drive sum lots. There are deals!!

The problem with any near new car is the used book value nearly equal to the deals available on a brand new car. You will never get out from under it till it's half paid off.
I bought my used 13 with 8K on the clock at $3500 below book. You could buy the same car in a brand new 14 all day for what the NADA listed my 13 for though.
