Marilyn's new Stable! (i.e. garage)
And the Lord said unto the heathens, "LET THERE BE LIGHT!!!"

Since my ultimate goal of LED strip lighting will cost me about $5K all in all, I took advantage of a good local sale and got 1600 lumens 5000k LED bulbs for the garage. What a big difference. It will hold me over.
. Yellow lights in pics are CFLs obviously. I have the 3 over my workbench yet to replace.

Ok... here it is! Fresh off the install press
Was just completed this morning. We tested and verified, full functionality. It's a Lennox. 75,000 heat pounding BTU's. And it's surprisingly quiet in operation too. Controlled via an external thermostat (I don't have a pic of that, but could upload it later) - same way our house is, programmable. I have it facing the front of the garage, so that it can disperse equally across the entire room. It draws air from the rear, then blows it out front, to ensure airflow for the whole space.
I've ALWAYS wanted a garage heater. Never had one. Now I do. I can't wait till the temps start dropping. I'll be in my garage in shorts, happily working away (car work or detailing work)

Rocky - sorry I missed this earlier. Thanks a lot man! Garaj is coming together nicely I think. I'll have beers for you, don't worry.
Hey Tony - I appreciate it, buddy. Yeah, the Garaj upgrades have been planned from the get-go. I have systematically tried to "pace" myself, sequentially, with all the additions. So, it wasn't like a "spur of the moment"/emotional buy. The only one that wasn't "planned" per se, were the LED bulb upgrades. But that was minor, at about 120 bucks total for all 20 bulbs. Menards had a great sale. lol. The Heater was a must or bust. I had that planned before I they even broke ground
EDIT: and yes, a toy car has been planned for next year. Marilyn's new sibling. If all goes well, that is. No car payments for me... as you know, I hate em. So, that's why I haven't gotten another toy yet. Just saving up.
Next on list:
You must be in Texas or somewhere like that, I take it? The winters here get pretty balmy. LOL. -20 sometimes for a stretch. Ugh. So yeah, having a Garaj set at 50 degrees minimum, would be AWESOME.
Thanks Gary!!! When are you guys coming over? I'm literally hosting my Garaj Warming Party - Dude's Night in a couple weeks. I'm smoking pork roast or 4 big chickens, not sure yet. Drinks. Bball. Football. Cornhole game. Also Texas Hold Em Poker. hehe. Should be a blast.

Hey Burton, The garage is looking sweet. I had to laugh when I read your comment that the only mistake you made was not building it bigger. Isn't it the truth!
Have you narrowed down what your next toy car will be? I'm 99.9% sure I'm going to add another bike for next year instead of a car. I have more miles on the motorcycle this summer than I do on the Mustang! Fall is nearly upon us though and the Mustang will get more miles when it gets too cold to ride.
