I just noticed it seems that the complaint with the camaro (how do you change out the stereo) is the same with this car

True, your right Doug. Sucks for anybody wanting to switch in an aftermarket radio.

I'm glad SYNC covers all my needs

Looks very good. It does remind me of my old 67 I had very very much.

While we dont know for sure let me be the first to complain about something I have complained about for years. Please please dont give us fake gages again!!!! Even my old 67 had a real oil pressure gage and temp gage and it was just a plain coupe. Why does Ford do this? Am I the only one?

I know styling is subjective but man this thing looks so much cleaner than the camaro interior which I find hideous.

I was talking about the face of the dash not the dash cover. I had a 68 Mustang FB that I sold two years ago and I'm feeling more cougar than stang though still heavily influenced by the 67-68 styling. Plus that one below doesn't have AC. I think if they could have meshed our current dash with the new one it would be true to the 67-68 stang. I think they did a great job on the console though.

It's the stripped down base model. Take a look at the other pics for a better idea...

My qualm with the stereo being "non-replaceable" is that Ford has a pretty poor track record for using a head unit that lasts much more than the 3 yr warranty. Bottom line, those of you BUYING this car, WILL need to replace that stereo at some point. Heck, some of those Audiophile 6 disc systems in the SVT Foci didn't last a week.

I agree the stereo should be replaceable. But I'm not going to complain because the SYNC system has everything I need in radio head unit, and then some

I think I'll be fine with a factory stereo, I am now.

One thing I never noticed before, but I find I dislike now is the headlight controls are more conventional, and not like my II or Bullitt

Oh well..

And it looks like it might be a clock BM. thats kinda nifty, but I'll probably never use it

Not liking it guys. Flame on...but I like mine better. And you're right Adrenalin, replacing the stereo in this standard trim is going to be a beast to say the least.

I think that's especially bad because the low option standard stereo cars are the ones where the owner is most likely wanting to swap it for an aftermarket unit

Well I like the new interior is nice enough. I appreciate the upgraded materials, soft touch surfaces, better fit and finish with more complete trim.

However I would miss the character of my big chrome ringed round vents and gauge cluster too much to do without them.

So there is nothing about the 2010 that makes me wish I waited for it. Nothing is saying I gotta have it or that I regret buying my 08. If anything I am relieved that my 08 has an appeal that will never be obsolete.

This is what the Flex looks like With the Nav
