I don't really like it Maybe it's just the entire interior being black, really need to see some pics with IUP and some color contrast to make a completely judgement, but as of now I liked the interior on my 05 and 08 GT's better (which I don't have anymore, so I can't be biased towards the car I have!)

Considering how bad the shaker units were and how many opted to replace them with aftermarket units, replacing the stereo in this thing is going to be a royal pain. I like the rectangle vents and the center console but the rest looks kinda bland (boring) compared to the current steering wheel, IUP, etc.

I'm wondering if this is a very basic interior (from a V-6, maybe?). I do agree that it could benefit from some highlights here and there. I know we've seen a pic where the 3 steering wheel spokes had a brushed metallic finish.

Interior looks great.
My only concern is.. I really hope that the stereo panel is a separate piece from the actual stereo.. otherwise I will be forced to saw/dremel apart a $200 stereo to install my computer...
and although I don't mind the all-black interior, I hope we have the option to upgrade to something other than plastic for the top part of the dash, like we can now.

Now I get it .. the general shape of the tailights matches the shape of the dashboard and the mirrors. Nice.
Also, that looks like the base interior, black door handles and no bright trim on the steering wheels spokes. I imagine the premium trim will look even nicer.

I Have No Life
Interior is basic...not the IUP.
The layout is a nice evolution of the current design..more refined and not as clunky.
Can't wait to see the LCD screen in the dash instead of the basic controls....
Guages look wicked. A lot cleaner
And i really like the current interior...even though it's getting dated, and the hard materials.
This is a NICE step up. Can't wait to see the IUPs
***and that looks like the old stearing wheel...or the basic one sticks with the current design, the other one we've seen with the metal finish is a LOT nicer

Nicer but blander.
What it seems to have gained in detailing, finish, materials and features, it has traded off in character and dynamism - and this is the top dog GT500 version(?, or did I get this wrong?). This interior, as nice as it seems, looks like it could just as readily be out of a 2010 Fusion, Focus or Accord. Whereas the current interior -- sub par detailing and materials and all -- is very distinctly that of a Mustang and nothing else. Even the upcoming Fiesta interior seems far more interesting, exciting and sporty than this, which is more on par with the Challenger's sedanish interior in terms of emotionalism.
The 2010 Mustang seems to be following a very familiar development plotline, that of the 1960s Stang which, with each iteration, became ever larger, heavier, more powerful, plusher and glitzy. While it became an objectively "better" car in many ways, in a more subjective sense, it gradually lost its focus, spirit and character, finally becoming the oversized, overweight, overpowered and overwraught 1971-73 quasi-luxo barge. I fear the 2010 may be following a similar general trajectory, at least in terms of aesthetics, character and style -- bloat may be reinded in by the necessities of fuel efficiency and emissions.
