My order outs to date ...
1994 Mustang took 10 weeks
1996 Windstar took 9 weeks
1998 Mustang took 9.5 weeks
2004 Mustang took 6.5 weeks
2011 Mustang will be 10 weeks ... if it arrives on schedule
I ordered my 1994 in May '94; if I had ordered it when they 1st went on sale (Fall '93 I think), it would have been A LOT longer than 10 weeks.
I'm pretty sure I remember the 2005 having a lot longer lead time than 10 weeks when they 1st went on sale Spring '04 too.
If you can't handle waiting 10 weeks or so, an order-out is obviously not for you.

When I ordered this car back in February, I told myself I wouldn't get impatient , because I knew it would probably be the end of May, first part of June before I saw the car. Now, with all of the awesome reviews, video's etcc.. I find myself checking this forum every few hours just to see if something has changed. I have never owned another car other than a Mustang (this will be my 6th), but for whatever reason, this one is definitely the most anticipated of them all. I know I will be driving around in it soon enough, so I keep telling myself a little more time to save for the down payment makes the wait ok.
are you my long lost twin? other than 6th mustang./
