Hopefully mine being ordered as Stock won't screw me then, been built since the 30th. Pains me to know my Mustang is just sitting in a lot begging to be driven!

just curious, if they start shipping from the factory on April 13th, how long does it take for the cars to reach the dealers; in other words, when can we expect to start seeing them at the dealers?

Depends on how far away. I am close enough to plant that mine is shipping Convoy, I'm sure rail adds some time. But I've been told about one week since I am so close. But mine was changed to stock retail by my dealer, so that may mean it will sit while they get the retail orders shipped. I'll have to wait and see. If I get screwed because they changed it to stock without telling me, well there's going to be a LARGE scene at the dealership!

Might be quicker to buy a car off the lot than wait for some of are orders to be built and shipped.

The email didn't say which type but I am sure it will be like the one you have already. I am surprised you didn't get the email.

IMHO, it is better to order and wait a bit. Every car at the dealer with be raped with ADM at least a few thousand. I ordered under sticker and may wait another month but that is OK with me.

Seems like all the lot cars I've had were always close, but never exactly what I wanted. I'd rather order it anyways, since it doesn't cost extra at all.

You can't say that and then not elaborate.

Dunno if it was already mentioned here, but I read in the Shelby forum that a dealer in Florida already got a 2011 GT500 on the lot. Maybe they start releasing the Shelby first.
