Ford figured out the problem and it gets fixed under warranty, so the issue is resolved. I couldn't care less about them other than I don't want messed up stuff on my car, but they are an excellent conversation starter. Some people's expressions when they see them are hilarious.

2014 base GT with automatic.

At around 4,400 miles had the radio display replaced under warranty due to etching/ fogging.
I'm at about 4,900 miles now and since replacing the Roush AB with the GT500 AB, I can now hear something that sounds like drivetrain noise. Driveshaft or rear end. I replaced the rear diff fluid at around 4,000 miles when I installed a Ford aluminum diff cover and the fluid was gray in color. That is all for now.

2014 GT premium 1800 miles. At 1000 miles passenger side pony light fell out going down the highway. Dealer fixed for free. No other problems other than that.

2011 GT Premium, Race Red, Rapid Spec 400A, 6AT, Electronics Package, Comfort Package. 12k miles. A lot of items, more than I'm used to for a new car, frankly. But...I love the way it looks and drives, it is the first car I've ever tracked, and Ford has given me a FREE 3-year maintenance plan and a FREE bumper-to-bumper warranty extension up to 5 years (up from the standard 3 years) - both for my troubles. Here's my laundry list:
* rattle in rear-view mirror, replaced under warranty.
* passenger-side seat heater fail, replaced under warranty.
* driver-side seat motor fail, replaced under warranty.
* driver-side weather stripping warped, replaced under warranty.
* driver-side window scratches, replaced under warranty.
* front LCA (control arm) creaks, TSB, replaced under warranty (with new heat-shield-fix).
* Sync not recognizing USB, uploaded new TSB software, fixed under warranty.
* interior dome/map light assembly loose, fixed under warranty.
* various squeaks in and around dash, IP, A-pillar plastics, & vents - I took some black-colored foam material and wedged into many crevices using a small flat-head screwdriver, all squeaks gone - invisible and free fix.
There it all is.

2013 Boss with little less than 20k.
So far I've had to get the engine bay paint fixed due to paint chipping under master cylinder, and I just went to the dealer to start a warranty claim for the radio screen. It started cracking about 5k miles ago.

Wayne

What is the recommended 1st drain/service for the rear diff under normal usage?

When I dropped the factory cover @ 23.5k to replace with the Boss cover, my fluid was low and looked miserable. The fill plug magnet had several mm deep of ferrous fine metal paste on it.

I forgot to mention I have had my radio display changed under warranty.

Things that I know are wrong that I need to bring to Ford's attention:

-Paint bubbling under hood.
-Front control arm or maybe strut bearing noise at very very low speeds only.
-Convertible top latches vibrate annoyingly under certain conditions.

Z, it's like wheelman says. Not a big deal to fix, and it's just something that came with the car. But, the things look like crap when they start to fall apart. And they are a great conversation starter.

wheelman, thanks for that information. I'm heading to the dealer tomorrow so they can order me a couple more.

Recently started getting a rattle on the dash but only when the car is cold. Can't for the life of me find it yet.

Other than the control arm squeak that was fixed under warranty everything has been great so far.

Hey DarrenGT,

Is there anything specific going on with your SYNC system?

it is having trouble automagically connecting to my galaxy every time i get in. It used to. I use bluetooth audio all the time, but the phone feature doesn't always connect.

I have had many sync vehicles. F-150's, fusions, edge, Taurus, mustang, etc. during this time I ran into similar issues and I figured out one common denominator every time I experienced a sync issue forcing me to pull the sync fuse and force a hard reboot of the system. Each time it was caused by what I believe was me overloading he system. I'll explain. I use an iPhone and use iCloud to sync all of my music in the cloud. It's a massive amount of music and I like being able to access all of it any time I want. I noticed that when sync would freak out so to speak the show all music and iTunes Match functionality was turned on. When I only had music that was physically on my phone active I had no issues. For some reason I do not believe sync likes the iTunes Match feature. If using an iPhone I recommend pulling your sync fuse to force a hard reboot, and turn off the iTunes Match feature prior to getting in your car each time. It's helped me a ton and I now have much fewer issues.

I believe the iTunes Match feature makes the phone appear as if it has a new profile each time and sync tries to create a new sync image each time. Then sooner or later it runs out of memory and acts nuts as you describe.
