Check in: what has FAILED, BROKEN or worn out on your '10+ Mustang?
Please state:
year, model, trim level and mileage...and any mods or special circumstances that might have contributed to the breakage (like drag racing, autocross, general hooliganism, etc)
Mine is pretty good so far...no failures
2011 GT, 300A, Brembo Brake Package, ~17,800 miles
The only wear item so far is the tires. Rotated twice, the more worn pair are just below 2/32 now.

2011 Mustang GT 5.0 401A package at 38,000 miles my clutch burnt out. Was doing some sound recordings for the company that made Grid 2 the video game. So I was hot ******* around running 160 mph down a run way and getting hard on brakes for about an hour. To finish it off, I did a burn out and smoke started coming into the car and my clutch pedal was stuck to the floor. Come to find out my longtube headers got real hot, which in turn got my bellhousing and clutch to become real hot. Doing a burn out didnt help matters at all lol.

I Have No Life
2012 with 7000 miles. No signs of wear anywhere, including seats, drivetrain components, interior, or even tires. Perhaps it's because she hardly sees the outside of day. Lol. Oh and it's stock.

2011 GT Premium, 6MT, currently with a little more than 57,000 miles and used as a DD for the most part. I have fun but am still on the original brakes/clutch so I'm not too crazy. Here's all my unexpected maintenance to date and what it cost me:
- 15,573 miles: transmission fluid TSB performed ($0)
- 19,967 miles: Check Engine Light (P0446) came on - Vapor Wire Circuit at Cannister Vent Solenoid corroded in two pieces. Replaced pigtail at the cannister vent. ($0)
- 24,466 miles: stock Pirellis replaced as they had worn unevenly. Replaced with takeoffs from a friend with an identical car that got aftermarket rims/tires immediately. ($300)
- 25,014 miles: squealing noise from under the hood happened. Water pump replaced along with thermostat seal and clamp. ($0)
- 43,457 miles: Air bag light was on - Found B0028:13 in RCM hard fault. PP Test G found high resistance in airbag 4.780HM (passenger seat side airbag). Replaced RF seat side airbag and RF seat trim. ($0 cost but would have been $800+ if out of warranty)
- 50,000 miles: 2nd set of Pirellis replaced after getting a nail in the sidewall and not wanting to replace 1 tire out of 4 when all were fairly worn out. ($735)
- 51,653 miles: inconsistent starting problem diagnosed with two fixes - replacement of original battery and PCM programming update (TSB 11-3-32) ($350)
- Unrepaired yet but broken since last fall: driver side power seat track in need of replacing. ($750 quoted cost)
- Unrepaired as of yet: one of the blend door actuators in the dash is going bad. (Assuming this will be $300+)

'13 GT's pony projector degraded twice, replaced twice under warranty, second replacement is fine after 15,000+ miles so I think they've got it fixed, d/s projector needs replacing now, scheduled for Friday. Other than that the only issue I've had in 27k+ miles is the stupid techs overfilling brake fluid which spilled all into the engine compartment but after a few arguments they stepped up and repainted it. Not Ford's fault.
EDIT: Forgot that the d/s seat (premier) leather started rippling after only 2 months, probably because the seat cushion is squashed after keeping a wallet in my back pocket for that short amount of time. Ford denied the warranty claim today, even though others have had it fixed under warranty.
Also forgot that one of my key fobs stopped working and was fixed under warranty, but during the time between break and fix, I used the key a few times because I bent the key on my spare set a little and ended up chipping the paint around the keyhole slightly. Should have taken the time to switch fobs but it was a busy time.

2011 V6 with performance package and leather interior
Replaced the pirelli's at 45K (could have squeaked another 2K out of them)
Replaced the front and rear pads at 52K
That's it. I currently have 58K, and other than general maintenance (oil changes), nothing has 'broken" unexpectedly.

2011 GT Premium BBP. Current mileage is 25,500.
Stock tires replaced at 15,000. Wear item but only 15k?
Sync replaced at 20,000. Just stopped working.
All 4 BBP wheels replaced. One at 20,000, other 3 at 25,000. Finish was wearing off.
Other than that, all is good. Everything was fixed under warranty. Well not the tires of course. Now I just have my 5/60 power train left.

just under 40,000 miles. Purchase 3/6/12
- 32,000 had front control arms replaced per TSB for squeaking, found out had rubber chunks embedded in rear brakes(dealer replaced pads and discs free of charge)
- 33,500 replaced the stock Pirelli's with some take offs I found locally for $100(thanks Craigslist)
- 34,000 finally had the radio surround replaced from the fogging. Was there after about 6 months. But waited til closer to B2B was over to get replaced.

2011 v6 automatic Mustang. 20,000 miles. The lighted 'Mustang' door sill had to be replaced, wouldn't change colors. The drivers side power seat motor (rack assy) had to be replaced. At 19,000 miles the factory all season Pirelli's were slick and had to be replaced. Everything was done under warranty except for the tires

2012 GT premium 6MT @ 49K miles:
-Front brake pads changed due to noise, done by dealer at 18K
-Right rear shock crapped it's guts, I upgraded to Koni STRT @ 48K
-Just put on new tires....stockers made it to 48K
-Rear axle vent is leaking, have a Track Pack diff cover ready to put on and get the fluid level correct
All else routine maintenance stuff.

2012 6'er Auto w/2.73 rear and 76,500 miles on the odo so far...
- rear swaybar end links failed around 20k (fixed under warranty)
- front right A-arm bushing started grunting & squeeking (tsb for it, but car was out of warranty.. hoping to upgrade this spring / summer)
- dash / gauge cluster rattling / buzzing sense new (typical cannot duplicate bs from stealership) been meaning to take it apart and put a piece of felt between, but the car is never not moving.. so I haven't done it yet.
- replaced the front brakes / rotors 2 times so far & the rears once... I blame the other half, she is very hard on brakes.
- had a blowout on the PA TPK early this winter, but it ended up being something sliced the sidewall. Replaced two tires, the other two still have some life left in them.. but we plan to replace them soon.
Car has been great to her, she wouldn't trade it for anything, and has a lifetime avg around 30 - 32 mpg.

2010 GT 5 Spd manual
Literally, no problems. I stay on top of the maintenance, and have too many door dings and scratches from living in a City, but I have never had to replace a part other then tires at 37000 miles.

-Brakes shot at 19k .
I tuned the car at 1,000 miles and have beat the crap out of it( within reason ; I take great care of her). It couldn't be stronger at 23,500 miles now.
