Thanks! I will say that if I had held off just another 6 months on pulling the trigger on a Challenger..my ride may have become something a little more..equestrian

No, it is not completely sealed with the hood closed. It remains open in the front and via the grille snorkel.

Yeah air has to enter the airbox somewhere. The trap is up stream from that.
