Just got the news that my car is ready, going to pick it up later this afternoon after work. The next few hours need to hurry along, STAT!

119676 - Ordered 2/14, Built 5/17, at the dealer 7/7.

Thank you, TMS community. I wouldn't have been as informed (and maybe even less excited) if it were not for the community here. Can't wait to finally pick up the car and take a turn with pics and impressions!

Good news are pooring in like crazy, congrats to all those new owners of 2011 Mustangs. Something about that nice white with red interior.

It's killing me! My car is literally 40 minutes away in Jessup and I'm checking my cell phone every 2 minutes to see if I missed a call from my dealer. It's had since Sunday to travel 40 minutes.

CMONNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!

Relax bro, it'll be worth every minute you waited when you get it. I love mine, i'm already into mods. Windows are tinted as of today. Tomorrow she will get a drop job with new wheels and tires. I'll post pics later. Life is good.

I have a problem with an order i placed for a new 2011 Mustang GT/CS.
on May 15th i went into a dealership and placed the order for the new car, appraise my trade in (Mustang GT/CS), and leave a deposit.
Several times i have gone by the dealership to verify that everything is ok and i was always told that it should show up any day. On July 6th, i called the dealership to get a VIN so i could look it up online (something i learned about from here). The dealer told me then that he could not find the VIN and he could not find my order at all 'in the system'. On July 7th, he calls me back and says he is trying to get someone from 'up the chain' to find out what is going on. He made some reference of maybe a reorder and making sure that i would receive a discount passed down from corporate.
I don't know what is going on and feel that at least a month ago something should have been done to correct it. This is also the dealership that i bought my previous car from and thought everything was above board with them.
So what does everyone think?

Do you have a DORA? You should be able to call CS and give them the dealer and order # on the DORA to see wtf is up.

Yes, 3 days before Kahdir's birthday, which was his deadline before he jumped the gun.

No i don't have that and from what i am hearing from the dealer, they don't have one for it.
I have put in some emails with corporate about the problem and am waiting to hear from the dealer about what he can find out from 'regional'.

i should have pushed them more earlier. It just PMO when i have to push someone to their **** job.

It's only because the process is controlled by the private sector. If the government was allowed to help out, things would go much faster.

Couldn't resist, now could I? It'll be here soon enough . . .

I'm glad to find this site. I ordered my glass roof GT back in May and have not heard much from the dealership, except it was being built. I tried calling the salesperson today to request the VIN number, but so far no call back. The anticipation is killing me. I did see Jokerstars ordered his around the same time I did, so I do have some hope that it will be here soon.

I ordered mine 5/13/2010 and am still waiting. Its status has shown at the rail yard since June 20th. My dealer told me it left on the 26th, but haven't heard from him since and CS tells me its status is still at Ramp 5M (the rail yard).

Instead of waiting for the yard to send your car at their original pace, the dealer requests your car to either be loaded first or greenlite to be picked up.

Bah, why didn't I think of that? And why didn't my dealer do it?

Guess I'll be calling my dealer tomorrow to see what he can do.
