Thats funny, at 12:23 they can't help you for another hour. At 1:17 you've talked to them. You are getting impatient, lol.

 

You should really have a build date by now I expect, but CS may not tell you it. Dealer should be able to check on it if you really want to know. I expect it to be built week of the 19th.

 

Mark me as "delivered"!!! I go pick it up after work this evening. VIN 138813 Exactly 4 weeks or 28 days from order to pickup at dealer...WOO HOOO! Pics to follow

Mine has been waiting in Jessup, MD since July 04. It just needs to be put on a truck...

 

Mine hit the same situation, which seems to be why the dealer just went and grabbed it off the train yard.

 

The ford cs guy said he can't give me the build date and I would have to contact the dealership for that. I don't really want to bother them, I figured I would wait for the window sticker to come online.

 

How long did yours sit at the train yard?

 

Barely three days, and given it was over a weekend practically no time at all. Arrived that Friday, unloaded that weekend, driven to dealership Monday morning.

 

Wow, your dealer must really like you to go up and drive it down. I doubt I could get mine to do that, but I'm not sure I'd want him to put 60+ miles on it.

Think it'll come in by this Friday?

 

FWIW- mine was at the yard for two days: arrived on Sunday, left for dealer on Tuesday. My dealer was preparing a letter so that I could get the car from the yard myself when it arrived on the truck. So I'm sure your dealer could arrange for you to get it yourself.

Mine "shipped" 6/30/10 and the overseas military sales folks need it to "rail" a little longer to track it.
One very friendly rep gave me the rail tracking number beginning with ETT. Any help on tracking this would be appreciated...mwj
