Why do I have a feeling you'll be able to buy one off the lot before you see yours???

How big are the dealers in your area? And isn't Kentucky horse country??!?! Shouldn't they be able to get you a Mustang faster? Or a faster Mustang?

 

can you do me a favor jokerstars. when you do get it and i know you will get pics. can you snap a pic of the backup camera that is in the mirror. i have never seen one in pics or real life. i want to see if you can actually use it and make out anything. i have asked before but no one will take picture.

Go to your local ford dealer, I am sure they have an f-150 with a backup camera, It would be the exact same mirror and camera, just different mounting points. I have used it on the F-150 and does what it is supposed to, you can see whats behind your car, I really didn't see a need in it because I walk around my car before every drive to check for any objects or damage.

 

Most people I talk to with the mirror-based display say it's pretty useless. Mine comes up in the nav and it's very good. Gimmicky, but good. I can see where it would be great for parallel parking of if you're near a wall with no concrete parking stops. But they're best for hooking up a trailer. Of which I have been told in no uncertain terms will not be affixed to my Mustang.

Well, as far as I know only 1 dealer of 4 in my area have a GT in stock. Though when I go to that dealers web site it shows they have 4 in stock, maybe they just got them recently. None are optioned the way I want them though There's one that is so close, it's black, 3.73's brembos, security, and comfort.. but it also has HID's and the rear view camera and I really don't want to pay extra.

I'll just wait it out.. and get my car that no one has test drove besides the engineers

 

I know for a fact that cars show up on the dealer's web site before they actually receive them. I am not sure exactly how far ahead of time though.

 

Well a month ago they were getting a black convertible according to their web site that was like completely loaded. I asked the sales guy about it and he said yeah it's probably on it's way. I never saw it though and that's when I was going by there like every day haha.

 

I called Ford cause I was bored.. I GOT A VIN! He said they just updated it today.. he didn't give me the build date and it doesn't look like the sticker is online just yet.
