June 14th was my delivery date, I've got 1400 km. Just rackin' em up.

 

I need more drive time. I've got 560 miles on the clock. My vacation starts tomorrow so I'll be having lots of quality drive time this next week.

 

Yeah congrats. I'm on the other side and love them. If I didn't need/want a vert I'd have the same on my car.

 

Well I must say that the cotus website has been a complete letdown. My car showed as shipped on 6-16 with a delivery estimate of 6-29. 6-29 passed and still no car. Contacted Deysha who advises that the car is still in Flat Rock. Wouldn't you think the dates listed would be worst case scenario?

Seems like in most cases the COTUS site is very good until the car is built, and that's when it becomes clueless, as it can't take into account every possible delay because truck/rail scheduling, how the cars are parked in the outgoing lot, etc. In my case, it's almost like whoever released the rail car didn't enter it into the computer properly. My dealer and Deysha thought the car still hadn't left the yard and then all of a sudden, BOOM, both of them tell me it's in town and made the 3-ish week rail trip overnight.

It'll get here soon, and it will be SO worth the wait.

 

Mine showed delivery date of 7/14 and my car was delivered to the dealer on 6/26...

 

Yep, mine was ETA 07/07, delivered to the dealer on 06/12. But my ETA was pushed back multiple times, including the last couple weeks before I got it.

Had mine since February 27....just broke 800 miles today....

 

so I take it the 2014 production run is over and done ? how many 2014 mustangs are left at flat rock to be shipped ? what will happen to the last 2014 mustang off the production line ?

 

No one has access to the numbers but the plant, boatstang14. The remaining 14s will be shipped out to the dealers who ordered them.

I feel your pain, had mine since first week in May and only 520 .....i need to stop working and drive!

 

Yeah I drove 990 miles from the dealer near Seattle to home on the first day of ownership. I don't think the ink was dry on the paperwork!

 

i'm sure you loved every moment of it! I'm also pretty sure that you stared on the inside of that car just as much as you did while keeping your eyes on the road, driving!!

that tops my 2,300KM stretch over two weeks!

 

Every minute minus my dad almost hitting a deer and getting a rock chip in the windshield 15 miles from home lol

 

that sucks!

on and BTW.... that damage on my fender isn't from a rock, can't be... i got a stone chip on my hood and there's no way a stone could have damaged my fender causing it to impact over an inch of damage on the body. if a large enough rock hit while driving i would have definitely felt that and noticed it! some retard hit my car while i was parked. i'll post a pic of it again.

 

Dammit. People suck! The rock on my windshield was from a Tacoma whose owner didn't do the courtesy wipe down of mud off his tires after he went 4-wheeling for the weekend

 

I think I will start a new thread and call it "Who's car sat at the plant the longest waiting for a ride?" OR "Wonder who's car was the last 2014 off the production line?" OR "I see 2015's on the dealer lot and my 2014 still hasn't been delivered!" Feeling very frustrated. My car has been built for almost a month and just needs a ride to my dealer. What gives Ford?
