Yes, hopefully it's a good day. When I saw it was a Monday, my initial response was "OH NO! Not a Monday car!" ha. I will be watching the weather and traffic in the Michigan area that morning to look for any disturbances in the force, and maybe I should send donuts and coffee to the factory just make sure everybody is chipper.

How often do you check in with Deysha for updates? Is one a week too frequently?

 

Heard from Deysha yesterday. She gave me the VIN and an ETA of early Oct. So far my dealer has told me nothing. Thank you Deysha!

 

Sounds like your wait has been VIN-dicated! (sorry for the pun, I think I've been lurking in this forum for too long!)

 

I've found Deysha to be way more of a help than my dealer. She's given me a lot more information. It's extremely nice.

 

I only checked in just when I first got on the forum and a few days after my blend date. I figured that bothering her over updates that would most likely be the same would be pointless and wouldn't make the car get here any faster haha.

 

Ordered 6/16, built 8/19, and drove it home tonight!

Wow.

Black V6 premium. Saddle leather. Performance pack. Comfort pack. Exterior group-spoiler, matte black tape stripe. Dealer said it was a people magnet on the lot today.

I've been reading so many articles and message board postings and shopping around in the enormous universe of aftermarket parts. Having just gunned it for about 50 miles, give or take some standstill traffic, all the adrenaline will let me say is wow. What a great car.

If you're still waiting, and you got a good deal, consider waiting some more.

Dealer is telling me its at the local holding yard waiting on a truck to bring it home. Been promised it would be ready for 4 days. I think they are trying to give me an anxiety attack!

 

Deysha, Ford Customer service called yesterday telling me the car was passing through somewhere in Minnesota. Is the delivery date still Sep 3, 2013? BTW this will be the last time you will need to check the status.

 

same, I heard that the car was off the train on wed and would be delivered until next week. Why if the train yard is an hour away does it take this long?

 

The trucker may be enjoying the long weekend?

 

Nothing better to wake up to a printed copy of your window sticker.....My car will be built 9-6-13 and shipped the week of 9-11/13 to TN.......Been along wait and the garage is done and waiting for my new ride........Oh forget 5 boxes of parts sitting on the floor to add to my Mustang Gt Premium.........Thanks Deysha you have been a ton of help....now if I can just get thru the next 2 1/2 weeks..................... waiting...................

 

My wife's vert now has a VIN and a sticker. It's going to be built next Friday and ETA is at end of Sept. WOOOOOHOOOOO

 

The teamsters don't work weekends or holidays. I guess that means ill have a chance to see if any of the incentives get better.
