I agree that the chances of the rebate going down are slim to none because the 2015 will be out in a few months, Ford will want to help dealers clear their lots prior to those showing up. The dealer I ended up with did not guarentee the rebates but was well under dealer invoice on the car. My best advice to you is to order it with the dealer that had the best pricing not including rebates and hope for the best when it's time for delivery.
That is what I was thinking. This dealership was 1500.00 lower than the next lowest. Ive been in contact and got prices from 5 other dealers. This dealer is 4500 off msrp plus the 3000 rebate and the 750 private cash. So I would get the car 8250 under msrp. Hoping the car is delivered by the 27th of April. That is when my private cash expires. I think the 3000 will stay the same if not go up by 500 or 1000. Maybe i will request more brochures in April just in case.

From all of the info I’ve gathered, all dealerships have the option to lock in incentives, imgmoney. But, not all incentives are able to be protected. Most do ask for a deposit on orders, have their own deposit refund policy, and may not be the same amount all across the board. However, they all have the last say on incentives at the time of sale (unless expired).

Brochures sent out with a $750 offer are based on select marketing criteria. Not every brochure will have one. We don’t have insight on the factors used, but we can look up to see if there is an offer unique to you. Available incentives for your area (by ZIP) can also be found here. You can verify eligibility with your selling dealer as all offers are subject to change.

Your dealer can check any incentive that applies to you at the time of the sale in their system. Hope this helps.

I just got the brochure yesterday with the 750 private cash expires on April 27th. If I order the car Saturday that gives it 7 weeks. I understand it takes 6-8 weeks.

Mine locked in the current rebate and then I got the new higher rebate when my car came in. I ended up getting a little more for my trade as well. That plus the $750 coupon and I was happy with my deal.

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal, I always ask to see the build sheet which shows the invoice, some dealers will show you and some wont. Go to Truecar.com and build your car, it will give you the dealer invoice pricing (or very close to it) so you know where you stand. I'm in the same boat as you hoping that my car shows up prior to the my coupon expiring, my dealer said they can lock in in once they have a vin. I hope that holds true as it appears I will be really close on the delivery date.

My car is less than 75 mi. From my dealer but there is no telling when it will get there!
I think it is even worse knowing it is so close and still so far!

That's because it is only a test site. Whatever Deysha tells you is what I would go by.

Mine sat for 10 days in a rail yard only 4 miles from my dealer. Finally the dealer went and picked it up at my request. You might try that, the dealer can pick it up rather than wait for the transport.

Sounds like a better than great deal to me. What percentage of MSRP does that work out to be? Sounds to good to be true, $4500 off before rebates...wow!!

I think my dealership would go get it if I asked, but they would just send a lot porter to go drive it to them. I don't want to have someone else drive it the first 75 mi.
So I guess I will just have to wait!

You will need to check with the sales manager for eligibility and locking it in, imgmoney.

Since it just arrived at the last rail yard on Monday, I think by this weekend, ElkGroveFordGuy. Fingers crossed.

Yes that is what I thought. They do charge a 499.00 processing fee which is very high. Most dealers around my parts charge between 100 to 250. But they are 1500 to 2500 cheaper then any dealer near me. They are about 150 miles from me. I checked out a lot of reviews on the net and they seem legit. They are a high volume dealership. They have 50 2014 Mustangs on their lot right now. They must sell a lot of cars and give up most of their holdback to sell that cheap. They advertise their selling prices right on their website.

Here is an update. I was going to order a gt premium cali. spec., comfort pkg. 3.73 and glass roof. The dealer said i was ordering one with a glass roof i would have to put a 1000.00 non refundable deposit down. He said since it was unique not many people order them and it being a 2000.00 option would be harder to sell. One without the glass roof would be a 500.00 refundable deposit. I thought it over and decided i was going to order one without the glass roof. About an hour ago I checked the dealer website and what pops up but the exact car I was going to order. I call the dealer and inquire about the car. He looked it up and it hasn't even arrived yet. It should be there within the week he said. The blend date on the window sticker is 02/26. I put a 1000.00 deposit down and he is going to call me when it comes in so I can pick it up.

I currently have a 2014 Mustang V-6 Premium, but i just today ordered a new 2014 Mustang V-6 Premium with the toys. I had some stuff on mine but wanted a different interior color, gps, rear cam, etc that i didnt have. Here is what i ordered: V-6 coupe premium, Deep Impact Blue, Dark Charcoal Leather, 202A equipt group-Pony Package, Auto Trans, 58N Electronics Pkg, 43S Rear sensor/security package, 46D tape stripe delete, 53B comfort package, 77C rear video camera. Price is showing 33550, with X plan from work 31524.82. Any more info i need to put up? I have the vehicle order confirmation and did not have to leave a deposit(probably because i bought our 2014 in nov and 2 weeks ago bought a 2011 fusion from them). I will be trading in the 2014 i have now for this one, so basically just switching out for the toys i want, same color. I think i have a generic order number as our salesman typed it all up to make sure we got all i wanted, then said he was going to the guy who puts the orders in and get it in today or tomorrow, so i assume the order number i have will change since it just says 9999. About how long is the wait right now?

Current wait seems to be 6-8 weeks. Message Deysha with your order number and dealer name and she can help you track it. Welcome to the forum.
