So, I talked to the dealer and asked them to throw on the GT500 mufflers... they agreed to do it and put it down as a dealer option and just tack the cost (399.00) onto my already agreed OTD price. I know I can get the pair from American Muscle for 320 (before shipping), but they are going to put them on for me and the 399 cost is the exact cost off fordracingpartsdirect.com. so, its not a bad deal and I pick up the Mustang with an already awesome sounding rumble. Since its in addition to the car I ordered, they agreed to give me my stock mufflers back. I will just sell them and make up some of the money spent on the GT500s.

Sounds like a good looking combo, post some pics, not often you see the glassroof cars especially in green.

 

I heard from my dealer and they are saying I should have the car by the end of march, seems like a really fast turn around to me. As long as I have it before the middle of May I could care less, wont drive it until the salt is washed away!

 

Glad to hear you got your ordered! Sterling Grey was the only other color that I was looking at for my car, both colors look so good on a mustang!

 

Agreed! I wanted Race Red but my wife said not allowed since her car is bright red, lol

 

I got an update that my new delivery date is march 8th 5 day sooner!

I'm hoping mine comes this week....$750 coupon expires 3/7 and need it to get the additional $500 rebate that was added 5 days after I ordered mine, the original $750 coupon expired 1/2.....gonna stink though...highs towards the middle of the week are mid teens....

 

This doesn't seem right? The coupon is 100% independent of all other incentives/rebates, one has nothing to do with the other, or it should be that way at least. Also, your sales guy wasn't willing to lock in the coupon?

 

He locked in my original $750 coupon, but after it expired ( although it was "locked" in) the regular rebate went up another $500. According to the dealer, if I got a new $750 coupon, when the car came in I could get the additional $500 rebate plus the new updated $750 coupon for a total of $3750, otherwise I am locked in at only $3250....

 

Hmm, that seems fishy to me.

 

How did you get that $750 coupon?

 

Request a Mustang brochure through the Ford web-site...order it a few times as some come with it and some don't....

Does the coupon come in the postal mail or in your email?

 

The only time I have gotten the coupon is via the regular mail brochure, maybe someone else can verify if they sometimes include it via the email brochure.

 

JC, what is the $500 coupon from?

My dealer said there was a $500 email coupon available by email, but he did not know how to get it.

Is that what you received, and if so how did you get it?
