Thanks...yes it's. A 2013 premium brand new. I don't know what the PPE is the dealership put all the stuff on including the stripe and had it in showroom. I'm not sure if I'mgoing to kkeep the stripe or not. The GT500's sound great. No drone and just loud enough to sound bad azz without being annoying IMO.

Finally ordered mine on 1/10/14. How long after you order can you start tracking?

I am in the market to purchase a 2014 GT Premium to replace my 2000 GT.

I want to take advantage of the $4,000 in rebates, but need to take delivery by 3/31. Is it probable to get the car built and delivered if ordered this weekend? Is there a difference in which dealership I order from?

I was told by my dealer 12 weeks so that brings me to the first week of april, and the plant is shutdown until next week so I am assuming thats going to add a few weeks to the wait. The rebates should stay the same or go up after 3/31, I have never seen them go down so I wouldnt be too worried.

Glad I found this thread! I ordered my mustang on the 1st of January 2014. The wait is literally killing me. I have no updates till now. Not even the VIN number. Your help will be much appreciated!!! I have PM'ed u my details.

Hello everyone... I went to order my Mustang today but both guys that could do it were sick, so I'm going back Monday to make it happen.

Over the years Ive had an 80, 86 and a 67 I rebuilt (and regrettably sold)... I've always wanted a brand new one and now I'm going to have one (to my specs!); I'm crazy excited.

I saw in some of the previous posts talk about the priority... 10 being the best... How do you get a better priority number? Can the dealer set that how they want to if requested?

I'm not sure how they did it but I bought mine (2014 GT TP ) in September and Tasca Ford got it in six weeks. They had the car before I could get the VIN number, lol. I know Tasca has a special relationship with Ford but not sure if that was the difference.

 

Yeah, the wait is a killer, but then I look outside and see it snowing and then I realize...ok I can wait till March....3 weeks since I ordered it.....

 

I totally understand. Mine came in and I was on my honeymoon. I wanted the captain to turn the boat around. Lol

 

My 12 took right around 2 months....but the Plant closing might delay it compared to last time...my 12 I ordered on August 27th, 2011 and picked it up October 28th, 2011...only drove it a couple weeks until I stored it...last time I just gave them my trade the day I ordered it so they could try and sell it without waiting...this time my 12 was already in storage so they just gave me a trade in value sight unseen based on it's condition (excellent, only driven on nice days and stored winters) and very low miles (4,832) plus the few items I have added to it...I just hope there isn't any last minute "adjustments" to that value...would hate to walk away from the deal...but they seem like a good dealership, been around for over 90 years....I have a dealership only 4 miles from my house but they have tried to screw me on trade in values twice so I swore I would never buy there again...so I drive 25 miles to this dealership...

 

Well, went back to the dealer today and ordered my Mustang! The long wait begins, but its going to be so worth it! Here is what I ordered...

cdiaz1069 (or anyone else who knows) - Thanks! I'm anxious to find out what differences there will be... I assume with the gearing I may get a better 0-60 time but it probably evens back out at higher speeds... is this right? If so, do you know what the times differences are with having the bigger gears?
