After having to drive this little 4cyl accord for a year (RIP '08 G35) its quite a change. Definitely <3 the car.

For the guys wondering about the rebates. The 2K worth of rebates that ford was running with I put the order down (5/30ish) held. I also was able to use the $750 coupon that I just received.

Deysha again thank you for all your assistance and updates. Where would the best place to leave positive feedback for YOU be? Maybe the new car customer survey?
Woo hoo! Congrats, CrazyStand and thank you for the kind words. You can call the CRC at 1-800-392-3673, mail it in to: Ford Motor Company Customer Relationship Center
P.O. Box 6248
Dearborn, MI 48126
Or you can PM it to me, and I’ll forward it to my boss. Be sure to post pictures of the new baby!

Also, thanks for mentioning that rebate thing. I was wondering that myself since the change in rebates recently. So , they gave you the new rebate of 2k off plus the 750 coupon? Just curious, I was reading the new offer and it seemed like it was only $1000 off matching. Or 2k off without financing offer.
I'm hoping my coupon lasts until mine shows up
I negotiated an out the door price, in writing, at time of order (5/30ish) which included the 2K rebates that were active at that time. The only thing that changed that price was applying the $750 coupon.
They had me sign a rebate sheet which had 3 lines
1000
1000
750
The finance manager did try and play some games with the financing, warranty etc but I just proceeded to say no thanks and pack up my things. After that it was smooth sailing. It is just a car

Also I did get two consecutive 750 off coupons. So if yours runs out request another brochure.

Why we cannot get REBATES on the 2014 Shelby GT500?
Seems Ford would treat us the same as the other mustangs.
This is not being Equal just because it is a Shelby.
When you Title it .
Is is registered as a Mustang with DMV.
Ford needs too address this for the Mustang/Shelby owners.

Premium Car...

If you can afford a Shelby, a few hundred dollars of is not going to sway your decision.

Remember that in the automobile business, the formal name for rebates is incentives. The excluded vehicles (GT 500, Raptor, Focus ST,etc.) are ones that typically remain in inventory for a very short time. Simply put, it is supply and demand, and incentives are not needed to sell those vehicles.

If you look at the enthusiasm for the Mustang shown on this forum, we are actually fortunate any Mustang is eligible for any incentive (Don't tattle on us, Deysha! Ha ha).

I took delivery of my new GB V6 Premium this evening and I couldn't be more thrilled. My area experienced basement flooding of historic proportions Saturday AM after a storm dropped over 4.5" of rain in 2 hours. Needless to say, the weekend and early week have been stressful with cleanup and helping out in the neighborhood as manyh of my neighbors had a couple feet of sewage in their basements.
There were 5000 flooded basements in my town of 6000 homes.

On to the car.

When I ordered back in May the rebate for my area was 1500 plus the 750 private cash coupon and the salesman told me all along that was the worst that I could do incentive wise.

My coupon expired as the local incentives jumped to 2000 in early July but I was fortunate to get another coupon in the mail on Saturday so they rewrote the deal with 2750 in rebates.

I will get some pics up when I have a few moments to decompress.

Thanks again for all of the info Deysha! You are a credit to the Ford customer service group.

I ordered my car 6/10 under the X-plan. I got the $1k rebate and the $1k lease conquest rebate. If I'm using the X-plan, do I still qualify for the $750?

Yes you do. I am also using x-plan and recieved a $750 coupon that expired 7/21, then requested another brochure and got a $750 coupon that expires 9/09.

If you had a $750 Private Cash coupon that was effective while your stang was on order, then you didn't have get another. You just had to inform your salesman who gets the effective period extended in the system. Your salesman or sales manager may have to contact the regional rep to get approval, maybe not. I've done it twice on previous orders. It has been posted before.

Tried, my salesman told me he couldn't do anything until the car hit the ground at the dealer. Also called ford and they said they could not extend it either. I'm just glad the second one came in before the car did. Hope to have the car by the first full week in August cause I have to go out of town the week after that and that would suck badly.

My wife ordered a Sterling gray metallic 2014 base v6 convertible Mustang with the tech package today. Now the wait begins (again). I ordered mine in April and ended up getting one off the lot because I lost all 4 of my vehicles in the tornado and I couldn't wait. She lost her 2002 convertible and this is her dream car.

Hello all!

I placed my order for my first mustang(I'm 23) June 1, 2013 at a local dealership here in Northern, Virginia. I was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks(just like all of you have been told) and behold my build date is August 15, 2013. Hopefully by the end of August it will be here. I have been patiently waiting, or at least trying my best to. It's kind of ridiculous that my car will be finally arrive a full 3 months after I placed my order. But I guess the wait will be worth it!

Oh. I ordered a 2014 Gotta Have It Green V6 Premium Coupe with the Mustang Club of America Package, V6 Performance Package, and back up camera. I shall call her Sherane! Muhahahaha

I'm going to be getting $3250 in rebates on my wife's convertible. To add to the $2000 in rebates and $750 brochure coupon Ford is giving those who lost their homes in the tornado an extra $500 rebate.

A big thumbs-up to Ford for doing that. That's a decent thing to do.

Tomorrow is the big day. Plant comes back online. Since mine was in the middle of being built, it should be done in a few days. Then it awaits shipping.

You and me both buddy. My blend date has been set to 7/29 since late June. I can't wait. But I hear you, tomorrow is a big day. I have some tough meetings at work tomorrow, and I keep telling myself that by the time I get out of work, my car will be built
