2014 Mustang vs. 2015 Mustang
There was a lot I didnt like about the 2015's, the push button start was the deal breaker. I'm old school, I need to turn a key. Push button starts are for washing machines not muscle cars.
I was lucky to find one of the last White GT/CS convertibles with manual transmission in the Northeast and I love it.[/QUOTE]
The push button start is the one thing i'd like on my 2014 - I had an Infiniti G37 coupe prior to the Mustang and got used to not having to dig my keys out every time I wanted to open the doors or start her up. Also I'm one of those people with a lot of keys on my ring (GM would love me - I'd probably be dead) and they're always dragging on my knee in the Mustang - with push button that all goes away. Other than that - I think the dash on the 2015s looks busy compared to the 2014 - I think it's the toggles that do it.

I'm oldschool but I love the pushbutton/keyless system on my wife's Lincoln.

I know its horrible to say, but this might be the best I've seen a '15 look! Without the awful headlights, the eye is drawn to the profile of the car- which is actually quite nice! This owner has a perfect opportunity to have a body shop figure out some way to swap in a '14 front end (yeah, I know- it would probably never fit- but it would be pretty cool and fix most of what's wrong with the '15).
Wow - that's sad. Somebody had a very bad day!
Even with the front altered the only thing that says "Mustang" to me is the roofline. Without the B pillar and the hockey stick body line it looks too generic.

Have no clue what you guys see. This is a perfect modernization of the '69. So i do not know how you don't see Mustang. Here is a '69 and '15 together.

Ok, I correct my statement, pushbutton starts are for Infinitys, Lincolns and washing machines, not muscle cars!! LOL Infinitys and Lincolns are cars you ride in when you need to get somewhere, a 420HP muscle car is something you drive when you have no where to go and need to get there fast.
This is a perfect modernization of the '69.
I'm not seeing it, but maybe that's just me. For me, the front end of the '15 simply destroys any attempt at a "modern interpretation" of any Mustang (unless they are going for a modern interpretation of the '94-04 line up).
The car that does the best job at "modern interpretation" (IMO) is the Challenger. At first glance you may actually think its a classic- then you see it a bit closer and it takes on a very modern look.
The 2013-14 was probably the height of "modern interpretation" for the Mustang so far, and- until they get rid of the "Fusion lights," there's really no way the word "interpretation" can be thrown around with the new car. The back end- yes. The front- ugh.

The 15's are trick.. Ford HAD to bring the Mustang forward. They did an excellent job of this while keeping the vehicle a MUSTANG.
Sit in one and you'll Know instantly they are MUSTANG's and the interior brings the Mustang from WW2 into the vehicle.
Well done!

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have seen the '15 on numerous occasions (including back in April at the 50th anniversary celebration), and have test driven one at my local dealer.
The key thing (how it drives) is really not that much difference from my '14. I noticed the accelerator hesitation (which I've eliminated on mine), and the corners with IRS don't feel any different than my SRA (now that I've improved my LCAs). Basically, the IRS feels like the SRA with good control arms. Strike one.
I freely admit the interior of the '15 is pretty nice (although I am very satisfied with the 401a red leather premium interior on my '14). The "toggle buttons" make a great first impression, but I think they would lose some of their appeal over time- they are just a bit "gimmicky." The gauges are nicer than the S197 gauges, IMO.
The back end of the car looks terrific. I love the slanted rear deck, the tail lights, and the elimination of the huge faux gas cap.
The profile is nice. I like the slope of the fastback a bit better- although the lack of the cove seems to be Ford just thumbing their nose at one of THE key design cues that makes a Mustang a Mustang, so- strike two.
Then you have the front end. Yes, I know it has been harped on endlessly, but it cannot be said enough that the front end is just awful. Ford could have "brought the Mustang forward" with a modern front end that didn't look like every other Ford on the lot. The headlights are plain ugly. The grille looks like a big mouth bass sucking down a minnow. Strike three looking and you're out.
Sorry, but Ford screwed the pooch on the front end. You have people that will tolerate it (and even claim to like it), but it is literally the "butter face" of the 2015 Mustang. Ford will keep it for another year (if for no other reason than to avoid the appearance of having made a mistake), but in two years it will change to something I would wager most people will like much better.

I will say the car looks so much better in certain colors.
I agree 100% with this observation... The 2015 Vette is the same way- certain colors seem to work, but the rear end on the Vette is just terrible with some colors.
