Ugh another 2-4 weeks.

Y'all complaining about a few more weeks need to get some perspective: those of us waiting on ford to release the gt500 don't even have prices yet. Another 2-4 weeks is cake compared to the 4-5 months we've got in front of us. Two to four weeks isn't all that long considering.

You all have nothing to complain about. Try waiting 6 months!! That is how long I had to wait for my 2006. It was ordered in August of 2005 and delivered in February of 2006. It was still supremely poplular and hard to get with 1 GT per month for allocation. THAT was a long long wait!!!

Just got my order in today.... One thing I was curious about. anybody done tinting through the dealership? My salesman offered me the option to tint the front windows the same as the back for $99. Since I live in tx and tinting is a must I was going to get tinting done but was curious if matching the back tint would be good or if I should have the whole thing done to a darker tint via 3rd party?

I have received three coupons so far. Two coupons are for 2012 cars - my dealer won't accept these for 2013 under any circumstances. One is for a 2013 but it expires on April 23rd. If the car comes in April 24th or later - which I figure is 95% likely - dealer won't accept the coupon.
I have heard tales of people "locking in" coupons before they expire. I called Ford Customer Service (incentives and brochures) at 1-800-334-4375. They confirm conditions on coupon must be met exactly or they don't have to accept them. My understanding is that the dealer takes these coupons up front and is reimbursed by Ford, so if Ford doesn't reimburse the dealer then dealer is out of luck.
BTW - if you call Ford customer service, be prepared to answer a lot of questions before you get to ask any!

Hey guys, I can add to the coupon question. If you ordered a car and the car comes in after the coupon expires, to get the coupon to be accepted after the date, all the dealer should need to do, is contact their zone rep and ask them for an exemption and they should be able to claim it after the fact. I know this as I asked my zone rep this very question. She said, if the customer ordered the car and then got one, and the car arrived after the coupon, she would make sure the coupon would work, as long as we asked her for the help on it. Just ask your dealer to contact their rep and they should be able to use the coupon since the customer ordered th car long prior to its expiration date.
But of course eact regional rep is different. Only going off of what my rep said to me.

Appreciate the heads up - and a big thank you to you and Five-O Brian for all the good info you guys consistently provide to this forum!
