I agree that it is a rare occurrence and no one should assume that a dealer is going to do this for them. To be honest, the dealer is doing me a favor since I am considered a volume buyer.

I certainly did not want to add any confusion to the current ordering process.

My dealer had their Yellow LS Boss & GB Regular Boss pulled. I have first rights to the GB Boss but I'd really like to go GT500. I wish Ford would drop the info for it soon.

 

Yeah, the spoiler I would buy from Ford as its prepainted. As for the lower valence, our labor is $90 per hour. I can't figure out what valence you want, as the valence on the 2013 Boss is just the lower splitter, unlike the 2012 which replaces the entire lower black piece with a different insert. Give me a call if you can and we can chat.

Correct, the 2013 Boss orders have been pulled. I'm waiting for 2013 GT500 info before I decide to pull the trigger on a 2013 Boss or GT500.

is it possible to get the holdback figures are on Mustangs?

 

The DORA that is printed won't show it. But the estimated figure is between $700 or so for a base V6 up to about $1,200 or so for a GT that is around $40K. This is using the numbers off of 2012 models. That gap may be a slight bit smaller for 2013.

That being said, if the dealer is giving you a good deal ($100 over, invoice, X-Plan), let them have this. This is used to help keep the lights on, employees pay, etc.

 

So when you go the SVT site if you were to order the $7500 supercharger do you tack on installation on top of that or is it inclusive?

Question about the price list. Does dealer invoice w/holdback mean that the price listed is invoice minus holdback?

 

That price is for parts ONLY!! Labor is added and varies from dealer to dealer.

 

What is this hold back we speak of?

 

The price shown on the list is the actual invoice price that you would see on an invoice at a dealer. That price includes the holdback on the car.
