Its just strange that the price level on the list is 315 when it started at 300. Its a price increase without an increase since the prices on level 300 were never released. That's me just nitpicking, lol!!!

Sort of. I don't think they were ready for the order guide to be out as early as it was, and I'm sure the internet made the speed things up. It is what it is though.

 

Is there a name or title or something that this $1000 rebate goes by? My dealer is gonna act like they've never heard of it and I want to be armed when they plead stupid.

Please elaborate. I know there WAS a $3000 cash incentive on the 2012's, but what is this $1000 rebate pertaining to?????

I just saw a $2000 swing in the price of my mustang within 1 day. Ford decides the americans should pay an extra $500 each for the Track pack and Recaro options. Then i find out theres some weird fuel delivery charge or what ever, tack on another $500. And to put the cherry on the sundae, Ford renigs on their $1000 rebate that was supposed to last till 4/2/12 and replaces it with $500. Very disheartened right now.

 

once you sit inside it and turn on that monster v8, it will all be worth it. Trust me.

 

Too late now man. Ur stuck with the $500 like the rest of us.

Wow.. mustang being affordable... unless i missed something i wanted a GT with manual trans. with leather recaros and track pack.. to get leather recaros you have to get a premium and with my math the sticker plus destination fee is 40k??? did i miss something.. thats as much as a boss pretty much.. a dealer told me they could and i quote "easily" get me a 2013 gt mustang with these options for 33k which was fair... im guessing not? someone care to help me out on this or explain whats going on

 

I have to say I am a bit disappointed in the 2013 pricing. I was hoping that they at least stay at the 2012 level. In light of the fact that Chevy is drubbing the Mustang in sales, I would think they might slow the bleeding with a meaningful price advantage. I would think by August you will see the rebates back up to the 3K level. As a real long time Mustang guy, it pains me to see the Camaro outsell the Mustang. I can only hope they are proceeding with great care on the next redesign.

 

The one thing I would like to know is why is the U.S recaros $500 more then the Canadians ones?!!!! when the dollar to dollar exchange is almost equal....

Same with the track pack. I think it may be because generally Canadians dont load their cars up with options so Ford jacks the price of the car itself up and entices them to buy the options by making them cheaper. Just the opposite with the americans.
