Yea mine was Premium Sterling Grey, Track Pack, Leather Recaros, and Glass Roof. My priority says 10. Dont know what it means. I pick up my DORA tomorrow so I'll have more info then.

 

Anyone that know what the Priority number actually means care to chime in?

 

Im pretty sure you are the 10th car ordered. When i did my '11 mine was 2.

 

Mine is priority 19. I don't know what that means though.

The lower your number the better. Every dealer has different number they start at. Some start at 10, some at 15 etc. When Ford picks your dealer for an order, they look at the lowest number in the system for that dealership. The lower your number the sooner it will be pulled for build.

If you have a number of 50, you may never get it built. They usually start around 10. Not always. That is how I understand it...Hope it helps.

I believe your #1 is referring to the order type rather than the priority code. The 1 means the order is for stock. My priority code is 99 right now since the factory will not start building the Boss until mid March. The dealer order will not go through until the factory begins scheduling the Boss.

 

I guess this would make me number 3...

Im trying to understand what the order number in the top left corner of our vehicle order confirmation sheet means. I do not believe thats our actual order number for tracking. Mine is 1234. Any one know what this means?

I may be talking out of my back end but I think the order number has no relationship to anything except a simple way for the dealer to track the info? I have had three different order numbers now, all over the place

 

I have one of those sheets too but it was only used for specing out different varieties of GT's. Like mine is order No. 0999 and priority 19, but we did not order it. It is used to price one out and order if you have them order like that. Wouldnt this mean it will take a few days before a true priority code is assigned by whomever?

Since Boss's are on a allocation, I had them look in the system to see which Mustang's they were scheduled to get first and I picked the Boss that is due 1st 1/4. Actually its #2 in their sequence, GT being #1. Then he printed me the order fulfillment vehicle visibility sheet for tracking details. That is where my priority code is 01 and it states the color as Green Envy. I am new at this so let me know if I am wrong on my train of thinking....

How much am i really missing by not having the x plan? How did you guys get the x plan?

 

Take the price that you are paying for your car w/options now and subtract it by the invoice price of your vehicle w/options then add around $100.

 

xplan is more or less invoice price. you have to work for an affiliate of ford (supplier, financial institution, etc) or own a certain amount of stock for a specified period.
