Talked to my dealer today. Waiting on prices for the GT track pack and recaro options to place my order.

A 300A with the Brembo/Track Pkg and Recaros, a 301A with the SYNC/tech pkg, a 400A and a 401A. One of these is Gotta Have It Green, a couple of Deep Impact Blues, and a Sterling Gray. It's fun to put together orders, then when they arrive, see how people react to them.

 

Dealer? Yes. But, I'm a Mustang enthusiast first and foremost. I have only seen pics of Deep Impact Blue and it looks just a bit brighter than Kona Blue. I've owned 4 blue Mustangs, so I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing this new hue of blue.

 

I was told by an internet mustang buddy of mine who has seen the 2013 color in bright sunlight & he says it looks like the 05 Mustang Sonic Blue.

In fact I believe his 05 he had a few years back was sonic blue so he should know.

The First sn197 we got a Clevenger was Sonic Blue. Here is a pic!

 

I used to help spec the Mustang orders out at Clevenger. It was fun! In particular I did the last 07 Gt-500 for the year When we had an extra one allocated. I Ended up buying it! I was one of the few employee's who got to test drive Gt-500's & The Roush Cars. I was also the one who was slated to test drive any customers cars that got performance upgrades such as superchargers & tunes. They trusted me since they knew I to handle one ! GOOD TIMES!

The way I understand the Sterling Grey/Brick Red situation, you can't order a 2012 with that combo either. When SG went away, so did that combo. And when they brought it back, it was no longer an option. BUT, you can get Deep Impact Blue with a red interior...go figure.

BRING BACK GREY/RED COMBO!!!!! please

I did find something interesting. Ford did rush the order guide out, since it was online elsewhere. The reason I say this, as the other 19" wheel for the GT (64X) the bright machined wheels with painted pockets cannot be added to an order in CONCEPTS yet. They aren't there. The only 19" wheel is the Nickel Luster wheel. I put in an order for a GT in GHIG and wanted the black wheels and I can't build it. May have to wait for Ford corporate to update CONCEPTS before I order this car.

I did order a GT/CS coupe in DIB with silver CS stripes!! Just mad I can't put in the security system in the CS

 

Yea im gonna wait until scheduling to order mine so nothing gets f'ed up.

 

Your order gave me the inspiration to order a '13 GT/CS in Sterling Gray with the Silver CS stripes. I think that'll look subtle & classy with the silver!

 

No hood scoop. But you can still get side scoops. I dont get it.

Shouldn't be too surprising...Kona was available with the 401A Brick Red interior before. My dad being from Chicago, I thought it was kinda cool (Cubs). That or Patriotic being red white and blue.

 

Ferrari has been doing this color combo for a LONG TIME!! The best looking Testarossa I ever saw was at the Reading Ferrari Concourse at the Reading Country Club in PA. There was an 89 Testarossa in Tour De France Blue with Red Interior and it was STUNNING!!
