To 05fordgt,
I love having you on this site. A wealth of information and inside news. Wish you were closer to Texas.
Man I can't wait for the prices to come out, got a blank check from USAA in my inbox and 2 trade ins.
Hurry up Ford.

Amen, I am waiting too. Want to compare a loaded GT with Brembo's and Recaro's to the Boss. Although, I might go check out some STI's....

I went to Pat Milliken in Redford, MI and worked with Kevin Koshkarian to order my 2013 last week. He seemed to be already in the know and I was in and out with the order receipt in under 10min or so. I was very happy with that

I've heard good things about Pat Milliken. I got mine from Village, but it's nice to know there are a few good dealers in the metro Detroit area.

I respect that. I love all performance cars and I give respect to Chevy and Dodge. I researched all 3 when i was buying last year. I settles on the Mustang. My 12 GT was my first mustang and I was sold. I had always wanted a classic fastback, and after driving my buddys 65 fastback gt then mine again, I was so relieved I got the new one. I love everything about the new stangs (except the gGT grille on the 13's). I think they are the best all around american muscle cars personally. They're not as much as corvettes or CTS-v's, they seat 4, they have a history, and frankly, they blow all the competition out of the water. Sadly, mine was totaled but the instant the 13 shelbys are available I will be getting another stang.

I am itching to place my order for a 2013 mustang. But I must ask you guys on here, would you rather wait for the brand new 2014/15 mustang, or settle for the 2013? Explain your reasoning please.
My reason for a settling on a 2013 for at least the next couple of years is the simple reason that I cannot wait to get behind the wheels of a mustang again! >:]

Our other car is a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT but me wife was suggesting I get something that we can travel to the snow in the winter. I will be shedding 3 out of the 4 Camaro's and I am certainly not replacing it with a Jeep, lol. This is where the STI came in since it is all wheel drive. This is a worst case scenario in case I dont get my ***** back out of her purse...

Not really Walt. The 2014.5 Mustang won't go on sale until April 17th 2014, and we just went into year 2012. Yes, we will see a concept of it sooner, but the car is still over 2 years away.

Take it from someone who had a liver transplant in 2003 at the tender age of 27...DON'T WAIT!!! If you have the means to do something like this (buy a car, take a trip, go somewhere nice, something nice for yourself, etc) DO IT!! You NEVER NEVER know when things come up and you can't do it later. I had 2 weeks left before I was dead but got "the call". That is why I bought the Mustang. Never wait. Enjoy life in the present day!!!

Hey CY, its a tough call. You have to remember, the all-new car that is coming in 2014 calender year as a 2014.5/2015 will be TOTALLY TOTALLY different. Not retro, but modern and way different looking that what we are all used to the last 9 model years. Plus the car may have IRS (should have it as according to all reports) and the price is always a factor. I would just get a car now and have fun with it.
