I'm loving the new rear end, but who here thinks that the license plate area is just too big and out of place?

I'm thinking a little smaller or painted the body color, if the car has stripe delete it's just going to be this big black blob back there. Or if the stripes were white, that would prob look weird too.

Here are a couple of Photoshop options I did, what do ya think?

 

Finally a semi decent picture of the chrome surround of the V6 grill. Once again not my thing but relatively easy to fix with some matt black paint. Still the best of the new grills imo.

 

I agree and I think the stripes totally clash with the black panel between the tail lights too. It's just too much.

Either have stripes as the only contrast to the body color (like on the previous editions) or no stripes at all.

 

One more I did with white stripes, and painted license plate surround.

 

Ok, now I"m just playing, I wonder what the green color will look like?
darker or lighter?

 

Not sure how they say the front looks more aggressive on the GT. Just looks bulbous to me. The car looks heavier and fatter. The painted side skirts just look out of place and the rear in those live shots just looks huge. People *****ed about the black plastic on the '10-'12. That whole rear is black plastic now. Can you say scratched to hell? Must see this in person but right now the '11-'12 GT is far a more aggressive sleeker looking mating than the '13. Must see in person.

 

Already looks like my radio display cover.

 

Not gonna lie... I think the GT with the fogs looks much sexier.

 

So far, I believe so, but if they bring out a black with gray accents, I may go with that. Waiting to see the other colors.

 

Question guys.... Is the vert GT thats been shown in excess the last 24 hours sterling gray or silver??? The camera tends to play tricks on us, i cant really tell. Looks a little bright so im hoping its silver. ...?

 

The only thing I'm looking forward to seeing is the car in Gotta Have It Green!

 

I think it's sterling grey.. Ingot silver is very bright silver and not even close to grey.

I think it looks extra bright because of the camera flash, but yeah, it's pretty light... I wish they'd bring back Alloy, but I'm just glad they brought any kind of grey.

 

Yuck, too bright if its SG. I dont understand why Ford wouldnt offer a deep gunmetal gray color in place of SG. That would be bad ***.

Yeah, if they offered a gunmetal grey for the 2013, I'd be waiting in line to put my order on December 5th...

 

That deep impact blue looks a little too purple for my taste in these pics. Hope these pics are not a true representation of what it looks like outside.

 

Not really crazy about the 13.
Dislikes:
1.the front end looks like a patch up job.I like the 11 gt500 front but this one doesnt do it.
2.I def dont like the light set up on the rear. Looks like a Matchbox car kit or something in that effect. makes the car look like a toy and look cheap

Like the hood with vents but havent seen a clear shot of vents
Like the display w/tree with 1/4 mile info etc..very cool
Pony display on ground when door opens
Automatic - can manual shift
brembo package offered in auto

If anyone in my opinion has 11/12 I dont see the reason to switch a 13.I would wait for the big 50th in 14/15

 

Again, just my opinion, but that red surround on those new rear lights is just too bright..almost looks like they slapped that bright red reflector tape we used to use years ago on it. And i agree with prior poster, the new front grill looks too bulbous to me. IMHO it seems they over styled it, it's to busy, I like the simpler sleeker design of the 2012 v6 front end and rear end. Also liked the old hood with power dome, doesn't look like this one has it. But hey, thats what makes the world go round, one persons beauty is another persons ugly!!! and maybe like others have said it will look totally different in person.

The cutouts for the teeth will look like lit up tail lamps.
