I give Ford +1000000 for the new GT500

Looks wise the GT is a wash for me. Better looking rear than the '10-'12, worse front end.

But with the track apps, projection pony, etc. all is forgiven. Great job

 

On the 2012 there is the option to get fog lights in addition to your grill mounted "Driving Lights" Maybe that will be an option to fill that space for 2013 as well. My guess is yes. See below..

 

Yeah I'm sure you could just add the V6 fog lights. But stock it looks unfinished. But who cares about stock anyway.

 

if you look at the large size pic zoomed in on the lower GT bumper its not a blank panel. it looks like horizontal slats. probably not functional.



I am very interested in hearing more of the details on the upgraded shaker systems. they are down in watts to last years system but my guess is they went up in quality and clarity instead of just throwing raw wattage at the speakers.

 

I have to say that I like the grill better with the fogs than without. Will the V6 be available to get the grill fogs as an option????? 305hp and V6 insurance is enough for me, but I'd love to have the grill fogs with it. Can anyone answer? Thanks!

 

I like the changes. Major kudos to Ford! But since I most likely won't be replacing my 09, what's caught my eye the most are the Boss 302 wheels. I've been planning on buying a set from LMR. But the new ones look to have gunmetal background instead of the black on the current ones. I hope they're available soon!

 

Any ideas if the leather recaro seats will beable to have the heated seat feature? What about power seat?

The front end looks too fat.....they increased height and it just looks too tall and not wide enough now...it's strange, but I'm sure I'll like it better in person....I hope...

 

Those are the same style Laguna Seca wheels just with dark accent instead of pink. The pictures are of the L.S. model, not the standard boss. Still waiting to see if those wheels carry over or not.

 

The more I look at the GT fogs + lower grille, the more that I feel that it's smiling like a Mazda 3.

 

Not sure how much I like the front end the more I look at it. Kinda hating on the lower portion the most.

And my guess is the gt500 is going to be teetering at the 60k mark.

 

The Boss looks WAY too heavy IMHO.

I would step to the Shelby with the new look.

 

They look like smaller and maybe more aggressive versions of the Edge Sport 22" wheels.

 

with your mock up...you missed the V6 lower fogs and the chrome lip around the upper grill

 

I love all the changes. If they offer an aftermarket style of those tail lights for my 2007 Mustang GT I am getting them. I would also like to get some of the GT Recaro seats.

 

Man, they hit it out of the park with that rear... Awesome job!

Those new taillights are going to get VERY scratchy and VERY dirty VERY quickly

 

This one gives a good impression of the reflectiveness off the Boss striping
