SO AWESOME!!!!! 650hp?!?!?!? yes please!!!!
I'm undecided about the grille on the 500 but the back end is SICK!!!!
and the GT is decent......not my favorite redesign...

I have to say I agree with ejdoura here. my biggest concern was that the new rear end would make me regret buying a 2012 but now that I see the pics I like the one on my car better. I'm pretty disapointed of what they did to the tail lights. from the rumors I hear all the time I was thinking that they make bigger changes to the taillights, without the bending anymore and kind of like the 2005-2009 models had it. now it looks like it's basically the same and they just covered it up with that black/red surroundings. having said that, for me it does look best on the GT500 but it does not shine on a V6 model with a body that is less wide and smaller wheels.
the front looks better than the rear to me but I also like the 2012 better cause it's design is more simple and thus more pure.
what I like about it is that new digital info display between the gauges and the lower rear end part that is now painted. but since I have the reverse sensing system on mine I guess that would be impossible to swap anyway.
cheers

The rear end changes look good. Love everything about the GT500 rear end, even the quad tips. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the GT500 spoiler is hands down the best one out there, oem or aftermarket. It's amazing how much it improves the rear end. Not really digging the front end, I was never a fan of the sea bass Shelby look. As far as the fogs go it's nothing a black billet grill can't fix! Lastly, the GT500 is ridiculous! ZL-what? I'm curious if it uses the same size wheels as the previous ones. Hope not.
At the end of the day this Shelby is still a Ford. The ZL1 is much more reliable for the simple fact that it's a Chevrolet.

I agree, its a kinda big nose- looks almost like a dodge magnum-ish surround now...not bad, but not my favorite either. I think they did a most excellent job of fixing the taillights, think just about everyones gonna like more than dislike, unlike last time around... the backend of the Mustang looks great to me again, never thought they could pull off the chamferred bumper look for me, but these little tweaks did it...less poofed up plastic, smooth bottom line alone is a huge improvement, but the kinda challenger-ish glowing ring around the taillights is very cool looking. If i'd ever get one though, I would wire the tails like DRL's though, the clear/off mode dont look as nice as the glowing centers
the nose is a bit bulbous for my tastes, but the backend looks great to me. I said back on page 1, I think theres going to be a backlog of 2013 bumpers/lenses for a while- I really think that tail end on a 2010 nose would be one of the best looking mustangs around- in my opinion of course

wonder if the 650 horse motor will be available in a crate
Heated mirrors for '13 as well. Those of us in the northern states would appreciate them if they can be fitted on the '10-12s.
I guess I'll add my opinion.
Front end is pure nasty. Headlights look like shrunken pupils.
Nose/grill...can you say rage body kit? Didn't like it on the GT500, absolutely hate it on the GT.
Tail lights? Auto zone special. Hate LEDs, HIDs, and any sort of obnoxiously modern type of lights. Maybe it'll grow on me after a while, but that while might take several years. To put it simply, I HATE change.

My thought exactly...the V6 front end is much cleaner looking. In this case, less is more!
I think they did what they could do with the rear without retooling it a lot, but I do like what I see. The front doesn't look bad, but there's not enough difference between the models. The GT/V6 comparison above does make the fog lights look out of place I think.
650HP, wow! I'm interested in seeing how much that translates into real world performance.
The Boss, well I'd love to have one in my driveway....
