i find i like the V6 front end better then the GT..maybe it's the lower fogs or chrome ring around grill...but something makes it work better........side note....love this new blue!

Interesting read about new features

-A new Track Pack upgrades the previously available Brembo brake package with the addition of an engine oil cooler, upgraded radiator, performance brake pads, 3.73 rear-end gears and the same Torsen limited-slip differential found on the Boss 302
-All GTs and V6 models also add Recaro seats as an available option for 2013

not quite sure how I feel now. It seems like they changed too much of the look for JUST a model year change. It looks very different now, but not so different its unrecognizable.
I think I would have rather them made these changes for another SE, and not make them all standard through the model.

I like the lights too and at first glance they look like they should fit an 11/12 (fingers crossed). The other thing I like is the vented hood. It would be nice to be able to let some of that heat out but without the new front (which I'm not that crazy about) that wouldn't fit on my 11.
The other thing I think is going to be a PITA to maintain, unless you wrap it in clear film, is the colored lower side cladding.
Overall I think Ford hit grand slam with the whole lineup, great job! Now all they need to do is make sure there is no drastic change in price.

Even Fox News is excited about the 2013 Mustang!! I love the opening statement of this article.

overall the GT500 is pure sex. would love to have that rear without the 4 outlet exhaust.
GT? well, have to see it in person to decide. I still prefer my nose over the new one and I'm wanting to love those taillights, but have to see them in person. I hate that in the videos all they do is step on the brake. Would have loved to see the backups and turn signals in action.

This sounds great
The new Mustang can be specified with a six-speed SelectShift Automatic™ transmission. This advanced control strategy offers the driver a choice between fully automatic operation and manual control. The system is controlled with a selector button on the side of the shifter. The shifter has been upgraded for 2013 with more modern style and improved accessibility.
“This lets owners take an automatic out on a track day or whenever they want to drive sportier, and lets them have the convenience of switching to manual control,” said Tom Barnes, Mustang vehicle engineering manager. “It’s a significant improvement to our powertrain offerings that lets the driver take control.”
This capability makes the Mustang experience sporty yet smooth. Unlike some competitors’ transmissions, SelectShift won’t second-guess the driver with an override shift. With SelectShift, manual control is truly manually controlled.
